I eat at Panera in Derby and would give them 5 stars. Forgot about the one time on Mother's day I stopped at the Salina restaurant. Wait time was over an hour. Only one man was fixing food. While I like cooler temperatures, it felt like it was 50° there. Derby is a much better place to eat. I did think about getting a refund in Salina and going elsewhere. And probably should have. I ended up with low blood pressure and had a difficult time getting home after visiting the cemetery.

We came in and stood at the counter in the empty restaurant for several minutes while employees walked around behind the counter ignoring us. Finally I said “excuse me can someone wait on us?” The manager said “I am also working in back” . We then left to go eat elsewhere.

I got a special sandwich. It was turkey tomato avocado on ciabatta bread and Cody took my order and it was made perfectly. Everything I ordered was on point. I’ve been there before and tried to order the same sandwich and I never have gotten it right until today. I was so excited.

I purchased a salad and chili to go. when I got home and reheated the chili I had a foreign object in my chili. I sent many inquiries and no one has called only to give me a $15 credit as if i would eva..... I have reported this to the health dept

Have given them too many chances. They used to be great. Food is still ok BUT they cannot get an order right. This place needs NEW management. The menu is not what it used to be either. I don't pay those kinds of prices to settle for something other than what I wanted. Panera has still been good in other cities so it looks like the problem is a management problem.
