Fish was hot and tasty. I will be back.

Food from Sam's Southern Eatery (Salina) was provided at a graduation party. As I can no longer eat fried food, I tried the baked fish. I am NOT a fan of fish. I'll just say, the baked fish was DELICIOUS and now, I am a fan of Sam's Southern Eatery baked fish! Thank you for making me a fan. BTW, the grilled shrimp salad is delicious, also!

This place is great got several different foods all great especially the fried catfish excellent atmosphere and exceptional service. Everybody should know about this awesome restaurant! Easy access for our box truck with the large parking lot!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I ordered and paid online for a scheduled pickup order. I arrived on time. I was told they were out of the only item I ordered, Gumbo. I was told it would take three hours to make it and I could return when it was ready as they did not know how to refund the amount I had paid online!!! I WILL DEFINITELY LET OTHERS KNOW ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE AND WILL NEVER GO BACK!

I had the catfish, crab cakes, shrimp, with red beans and rice and green beans. The food was ok but what really made the experience good was the lady working the register. She was so friendly, funny and it was nice to talk to her.

The people were friendly, helpful with the menu. The catfish and shrimp were good. But the grilled oysters were not good. The green beans were good and red beans and rice were okay.

Delicious Louisiana style food.Every bite explodes Cajun flavors in your mouth.
I definitely recommend Sam's Southern Eatery in Salina Kansas. You will not be disappointed!
I spent Twenty-Five Dollars for 3 Fish 3 Chicken Strips with a side red beans /rice and a side of Hush puppies topped off with a 32 oz. Fountain drink.
Don't let the price scare you as this will be two, if not three, meals.

It’s like Mom used fry on Fridays, hot delicious when it comes to your table. Very clean and sanitary they practice cleanliness and good management and manners, knowledge friendly

The food is oh so good. Delicious Jumbo Shrimp! Awesome fried mushrooms, pickles, and the crab patties are super yummy. My sons love love love the fish! And the Sam's sauce..... bruh. ..... like use it on everything ... The staff is super friendly & helpful.
What's left to say? Go try it out! You will not regret it!!

The fried green tomatoes were crispy and delicious and the fried fish was perfectly cooked. Such a nice homey place!

I’ve tried many places but Sam’s red beans and rice are the best! The catfish is always fresh and the service is great.

This is my go-to spot for Southern food. The prices are fair the portions are big and the fried green tomatoes are amazing!

You get so much food for the price and everything is packed with flavor. The fried fish and green beans are my favorites!
