Phenomenal BLT sandwich with the sourdough sandwich bread! We also ordered a side salad and added some of the dressing onto the sandwich which only added to the flavour. I can't wait to go back again and we even bought a loaf to take home.
We stopped in for breakfast as we were staying at an Air BNB just down the street. We shared a lemon poppy seed scone which my husband loved- I thought it was a bit dry- I am a scone snob and prefer European style scones the the ones we make in the US but it was tasty. We split the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were flavorful and a bit chewy. The gravy tasted like paste to me and if it weren't for the bits of sausage it was totally tasteless. We drive through once a year across country. This bakery has always been our stop. Has always been a hidden hole in the wall, barely fitting a couple people for pickup and the most amazing sourdoughs, then extended into savory pastry options and a fruit filled option, a sandwich here and there.
