The Hoof & Horn Steakhouse

Waited a half hour tonight and not one waitress talked to us h til we walked out. They thanked us, not sure what we did, but they were sure to thank us for coming.

Great steaks and chicken fried steaks!!!

The steaks were not cooked as ordered. I threw my T-Bone in the trash. My husband left his bloody Rib eye on his plate after a few bites. The baked potato was old, and brown on inside. The simple salad, green beans, and Margarita were good. The waitress was very nice, and friendly, Wasted $113 on this awful meal. I will never return.

It is exactly what you expect it to be! Great food. Service was a little slow, but they were packed. Small town charm with a unique set up for the restaurant. Pricing is in line with a decent steakhouse.

Decent place to eat but imo the prices are a little high for the food quality. Steak was good, but the salad and bread wasn't much more than cheap grocery store sale items. Wife's pork chops were also pretty good as well. But a $50 8oz filet mignon is quite pricey even for a steak house. Especially when a house steak 12oz is only $35. Could be improved or prices lowered to reflect portions and quality of sides.

Server was top notch though.

I probably wouldn't go again but each their own.

Went for first time with a friend and my grown daughter for my Birthday yesterday! 2 of us got the Porterhouse and one got the giant Chicken Fried Steak! All 3 of us tool a box home! Beautiful Interior, with Cowboy Theme! Very homey!! All tasted super!❤️

Great place. The chicken fried steak is among the best I’ve ever had. The margaritas are incredible as well. It’s well worth the drive.

Great ? food. Best chicken fried steak, I think I have ever had/eaten, and it was HUGE, great onion rings too. Service was fantastic as well. Highly recommend this place ? !!!

Passing thru Sedgwick on our way back to Wichita and remember H&H from the commercials. Dropped in and were treated to some great hospitality by Amber and the team. The chicken fried steak did not disappoint! Fork tender and great portions. Bartender must’ve had an elbow issue that made her pours a little long, which is always a great experience! Not quite 3 Michelin Stars on the food, but really good and wouldn’t hesitate to drop in again.

Went for dinner last night (10-15-24, 1st time there) and our waitress kept hovering seeming impatient so we ordered appetizers (which were good) but when we got our entrees EVERYBODY'S baked potatoes were hard on the inside & not very warm...gross!! The steak was mediocre, seared flavor and nothing more. Very unhappy with the experience for the amount of money that was spent!! Then ordered a salmon BLT to go, got it home just to find the fries we're not cooked all the way, and the bread was burnt, no lettuce and only 2 little strips of bacon.... I'm sorry, but for a $15 sandwich it should have been better. Will NEVER go back to this restaurant again....1st impressions are everything and y'all blew it!!! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

Steaks are great when they come out…. Homemade ranch with no seed oils, for salads, is good. Service first night was good. The second night not so much….
