This place is always yummy and while packed, you don't wait long at all, if you go to the window. Drive thru is probably another story.
My family and I ordered a small 1-topping sundae with vanilla custard and crushed nuts on top, a small concrete with chocolate custard and cookie dough pieces, and a small concrete with vanilla custard and peanut butter cup pieces.
The custard itself was delicious. Both the vanilla and chocolate were nicely made custards. The portions for a small were nice. My two boys (ages 2 and 5) split one of the small concretes and it was plenty of ice cream for them.
The most disappointing part was the quantity of mix-ins. There were maybe a couple of pieces of cookie dough in the one concrete? The other concrete barely had any peanut butter cups and they were all concentrated at the bottom. The crushed nuts on the sundae seemed okay.
I wish they had tables to sit at. There are a couple of outdoor benches, so it is a little tricky with kids needing to hold their own ice creams.
Andy’s is by far the best ice cream I’ve had in the KC metro. They always serve us extremely quick even if it is very busy. Ice cream is always spot on, I love that they give a great amount of toppings. Very high quality, and good pricing for the type of quality you get. I highly recommend

Just went there recently and the ice cream is good but we ordered two Ice waters and it's tasted like salt.
Beware of buying ice water from them right now, I called and they said that it is not figured out yet.
Hopefully they address that soon.
I used to be a die hard Dairy Queen fan but they have gone to an ice milk instead of ice cream and Andy’s frozen yogurt is garbage superior. Great service and always quick regardless of the line. Our favorite stop now!
Pricey but good. The key lime concrete is amazing! I'd give 5 stars but the price is kind of high for what you get.

The strawberry shortcake sundae is really good! I had missed going to Sheridans when it closed so now I go to Andys.
The snowmonster is my favorite. Chocolate and strawberries blended!

Good luck if you have issues with a take-home order. Their phone just hangs up on you when you try to call.
I asked for specific flavors of the Pick 6 and was given the wrong ones. They come in a box so I didnt know until I was home already.
They also didn't even offer me a receipt to top it off.
