Ate lunch there yesterday with my husband. A few flies were irritating, but the dead one smashed on the floor-to-ceiling glass window was awful. The food was pretty bad, we both ordered fish and chips. The coleslaw was off. Got sick. I don't recommend this restaurant.

Everything about this place is top notch. The servers are attentive, the food is phenomenal, the tap list is impressive, the bartenders are sassy yet friendly, and the patio area is perfect for kids. One of my favorite places in town.

We've been here many times and always loved it until last night. Service was fine but the food was awful and prices have gone WAY up! French fries tasted like they had sugar on them and the only thing I could taste on the Hawaiian chicken bowl was salt.

Two stars here for pleasant service and extensive beer list. But, not sure there's much else to celebrate. Place seems to be trying to be upscale beer bar and grill. Upscale pricing, but rest of the experience left something to be desired. TVs all over the place with sports, but despite multiple live playoff games in progress, only one of nearly a dozen had a live game, like they turned them on at lunch to NFL and Golf Channel and never thought about them again. Requested a channel, never happened. Beer menu (via QR code) had no prices with anything, left you guessing before an order. Food menu has sandwiches a la carte at $10-$15 without a side. Added a $4 side of grilled zucchini to one order and it had like 8 pieces, which for the price was insane (on its own plate, it also looked small). Had it been included with the entree even at a higher price we probably wouldn't have noticed, but when you price everything separately, you expect the portion to match the expense. And, honestly be a quality that is special. An entree salad came out with different ingredients than listed on the menu, only to be told by staff that it was now prepared a new way. Other items that friends had come for were no longer on the menu. Things change, just not sure they are changing for the better here. All in all, the food was not terrible, just not up to upscale standard. Beer selection is indeed impressive. But, feel like there has to be something else in the area that can be worth this expense and be memorable for more positive reasons.

We came to Barley's because of an advertised Crane brewing company happy hour. Being a huge fan of Crane & trying new places it seemed like a win-win! My husband and I started with the fried cheese curds and ordered some crane brews. Bizarrely the beers in the flight ended up being full price- not much of a happy hour. This was disappointing since it was the reason we decided to go to Barleys. The beef-fat fries that came with my husbands burger were yummy. I ordered their house made sausage which was good but the sauce it came with was just honey and brown mustard, seemed pretty plain. Maybe it was just an off night but it was still disappointing & overpriced for what we got.

I’ve never regretted getting food from this place. Absolutely love it. Pizza is great. Local Sausages are tremendous. Steak was cooked perfectly and tender enough to be cut with a plastic knife. The Nashville hot chicken taste exactly like Nashville hot. The staff has always been friendly.

Good spot if you like sports bars. Friendly bartenders, good food, lots of tvs. They could use more comfortable seating but I’m old and picky.

Came here from Colorado to meet some friends for dinner. My son and I got to the restaurant early and had a good experience at the bar. When our friends arrived it took over 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive even though the place was not busy. I asked the waitress what was taking so long and got the stink eye. We ordered poutine and artichoke dip for appetizers. The artichoke dip was good but the poutine was cold. Not lukewarm, cold. Flavors were good but it was barely edible. Some of the french fries on the poutine were barely thawed out. For main courses we ordered, keto bowls, house salad with steak and beef short ribs. Every dish was cold. Spent $250 for 4 people and the food was cold and barely edible. Only redeeming factor was good cold beer.

This place is still good. Been coming here for years. They just changed their menu and man prices are high. They removed some of the best items. 110+ with tip for two adults, two kids. That included two adult drinks. I know things are tough but it seemed crazy. We won't be back for a while.

Quick and friendly service but the food was only 'ok' at best. The tap list did look impressive and had a lot of different options available. #boyswhobrunchkc
