Outstanding bar and pub food! We were just in town for a wedding and staying at a hotel near Barleys so we tried it out for lunch....sandwiches and sides were delicious.. .and great drinks and tap list! Or server Annie was awesome!

We are super loyal regulars at Barley’s . When I say we go every single week, it’s true. We love it and it has a wonderful warm family atmosphere. We know everyone and they know us! We always think about going/trying somewhere different, but honestly, why? We love the bands, love to dance, great food, drinks, everyone is so friendly and kind. Kevin is an excellent manager. A++++++!!!!!

Arrived at 8:30pm on a Friday evening to have dinner and drinks with a friend. We were not charged a cover at the door and were not told that there would be fees added to our tab because a band was playing but upon paying our tab at the end of the evening we had several “Band Charge” fees added onto our tab!! This is absolutely unacceptable and THEFT!!! I have NEVER had a restaurant/bar EVER ANYWHERE add unexplainable fees onto a tab! Our waitress was great and I tipped her very well for her service but unfortunately due to your establishment stealing from its customers, I will NEVER be back!!

Bar keep and chef/ kitchen staff is stellar. Menu is above “bar food”. Definitely a locals hang out, after all who knows best? Over 5 years - dine in or take out. - amazing service and attention to details. One of the best patios in Lenexa.

Vegetarian options: The veggie dish sandwich was nice it would have been better if it stayed together the veggie were a little big and thus fell or popped out of the sandwich. Not a deal breaker just not ideal.

We were at Barley’s on 9/7/24 around 6:30. The band was doing sound check INSANELY loud, when we were told the band wouldn’t start until 9! We wanted to enjoy several more beers with friends, but we ended the evening abruptly because we could not hear anything over the sound of the band. I watched multiple other tables do the same thing. Overly loud live music is not the way to pull people into the restaurant - please no more live bands!! We will be avoiding Barley’s any time there is a band performing. (Our ticket was over $200.. Barley’s, you’re losing great customers!)

Would leave zero stars if possible. Walked in with two other groups of people. All were helped except us. The only interaction we had with a server was him throwing coasters on our table. Ended up leaving to find somewhere else to eat.
Terrible service at the hostess stand. Wanted a table for 2 in the bar area to grab a bite before the movie. Plenty of tables available, but they had a large party coming in an hour and would not seat us. Tried to sit at the bar, but there's no place to hang a purse. Was not gonna hold it while trying to eat. Left and went to Paulo and Bill's. Great service!

There is absolutely nothing special about this place. We tried the sante fe burger, fish and chips, the pretzel sticks, artichoke dip and a couple other things that are, I'd say, all done better and cheaper at other places. Pretty mid food at fancy restaurant prices. On a side note they have pictures of fried pickles on their page yet, they do not sell fried pickles.

This place is so much fun, especially for concerts. I primarily go to this location to see a local cover band called Coldwater. The vibes are always so positive and energetic. I love coming here for shows! Also, their salmon dish is top notch.
