I love this place with my whole heart. The drinks are incredible, the vibes are immaculate, and I love that I don’t have to drive far for a great cocktail bar (but I would definitely drive far for this one). If I’m going to Drastic Measures, I know I’m going to really enjoy my evening.

The first night I wandered in to Drastic Measures, I couldn’t believe I was in Shawnee, with the moody, yet somehow still easy going vibes (truly flawless). After trying the Kill Bill, I kept saying to my friend, “I can’t believe a bar of this caliber is HERE right in my hometown!” They always have something new in the works, so it’s easy to find an excuse for another return visit. The whole staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and will take the time to help you choose a cocktail that suits your personal tastes. The drinks are never boring, and I love the “give-back” philosophy of the owners as they often have events where sales are donated to local non-profits.

While they presumably switch things out a bit, I’ll be thinking about the Golden Sparrow cocktail they had in late November for a while. Really surprising mix (banana liqueur, spices, milk clarity etc.) of things that came together in a smooth way. Perfect spot for a nightcap.

Went with a friend on Thursday evening. The service was friendly and informative and was able to easily answer any question we had. We ordered 2 drinks each all all were very good to awesome. Was a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. All drinks were $14 and worth in IMHO.
One nitpicky complaint is that the table where we sitting was not very stable, we were in the back area by the bar where they have 2 tables for looks like 4ish people.
