Fat Bee Cafe Shawnee

We discovered Fatbee Cafe on a whim while we were in the Shawnee area, and we’ve been hooked ever since! It’s now one of our favorite boba spots, and easily a go-to whenever we’re nearby.
Our usual order is the Brown Sugar Boba, but we always sub the boba for mango popping – it’s SO good. That combo hits every time. I also tried the Ube latte once – it was flavorful but a little too sweet for my taste. Still, great to try something different!

The service here is always fast and friendly. Even when they’re busy, we’ve never waited more than a few minutes for our drinks. We actually came here three times in one week because we couldn’t get enough!

It’s also a huge hit with my son – he absolutely loves it and calls it one of his favorite boba places in the area. Highly recommend stopping in if you're nearby!

Originally I only came here to use the restroom(which was very clean and accessible), but after taking in the vibes and looking at the menu, I couldn't help but get a drink. The employees were all very nice, but I had a little bit of a hard time hearing what the cashier said because of their thick accent. My drink was AMAZING and I love the space, it's so cozy and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Fat Bee Cafe!!! I hope your business grows and I plan to come back again soon!!!

By far one of my favorite places whenever i’m visiting! The ube laze latte is always a great choice and the caramel macchiato is super tasty as well. I like that you can add boba to your drinks and the place is ideal to catch up with friends! I can’t stop recommending this place to all my friends from shawnee, can’t wait to come back!

Ordered Creme Brulee milktea (mediocre) and a Match Milk Tea, Fatbee’s match vs Kung Fu’s match (same sweetness and ice level at both places). It was just milk at Fatbee. Safe to say, never coming back to Fatbee again.

This place has been my favorite drink place for a long time and for a very good reason. The drinks are very exotic and great tasting. The price is a little much, but you still get a good value.

Best bubble tea in KC. My fav is the creme brulee milk tea, for which I willingly break my calorie limit. Pluc, you request how much ice and sugar you want.

Do not order the Oreo chocolate latte. You might think this review is a joke but it tastes like watered down chocolate milk, would not advise getting that. Otherwise this place is pretty good just order literally anything else.

Just recently went to get some Boba for me and the family. Ask for the black sugar Boba like we always do and got almost to none in all our drinks. We immediately asked if this was the complete serving and they told us it was even though we’ve been many times and got a good amount of bubble on each of our drinks. We asked if we could just buy extra Boba, And they responded by saying they had no boba. Instead of being honest they decided to lie blatantly in our face while they charge us the full amount of Boba. As this was happening the staff was on their phone watching reels and ticktoks as customers were waiting in line to place an order. Overall, this took an extremely long amount of time and we were highly dissatisfied with the customer service they provided.

Great drinks! Loved the Thai iced tea and love that it wasn’t overly sweet. BUT they need to turn on their air conditioning… we couldn’t stay very long because it was so stuffy and hot inside. 🥵

The first time I got this, it was way too overly sweet. The next time they had sugar adjustments, so it wasn’t that bad. The service was quick so I rated it four stars. The atmosphere is great. It’s such a cute café.

Very cute place, loved the Boba that I got. Only complaint was that the music being played was very loud and obnoxious pop songs and my headphones died. did not stick around and took my drink to a park to enjoy it. I'll be sure to check the battery on my headphones before coming back to study or work.

Everything here tastes good ☕️

We came in here tonight and I got the Taro Ube Milk tea with brown sugar boba. Very disappointed with my tea and service. We were the only one there and the girl didn't even greet us. The tea was watered down and the boba was old and you can tell it's old and been sitting there awhile. So sad, we used to love Fat Bee and used to drive 30mins to the original location in OP because the quality of their drinks was amazing. It has significantly gone down since they have expanded and franchised. On the plus side, our tea came out pretty fast.
