Me and my wife love this bar whenever we are in town. Thank you Erica for letting us bring our service dog Jake. Nobody even knew he was there.

Food was good, though being less than half full i didn't expect it to take over half an hour for a single burger and chips and cheese. The waitress kept forgetting about us and would take 10-15 minutes for things like refill. She was very sweet, though they clearly need to hire more people to assist her.
However listening to a drunk party, growing increasingly louder in the hour and 20 minutes it took for us to get our food and check, screaming conversing about how the poop in their camper really set the mood for wanting to eat and having no one who works there tell them to knock if the literal shit talk while people are trying to eat or to stop screaming it so everyone in the place could hear, they just ignored it.
Food was good and the people were nice enough I might try this again during lunch when there's less chance of having our meal interrupted by screaming of poop by drunk people.

Drive by Jakes all the time so finally we decided to try. We went at 4 so it wasn't very busy. Decided to try the Open Face Roast Beef for the Friday Special. We also got the appetizer plate. It came with breaded mushrooms, mozzarella sticks and jalapenos poppers. Everything was good but the star was definitely the open faced roast beef. That thing was huge. I expected less being the special to be lighter. Loved every bite. My wife said the margarittas were very good. My daughter got Buffalo wings. She liked them but said the Barbq would of been better. My son n law got the Ruben Sandwich and chips. He enjoyed it. Overall definitely recommend.

Drove by here many years but never stopped in, today I decided to check it out, read reviews but not true, walked in around 3 pm, regular at the bar, that will tell you about this place, a good sign, tonight is steak nite, 2nd place in Shawnee, open face meal, refrigerator that they keep beer glasses 🍻 in,keep them cold, bartender friendly and knowledgeable, customer are friendly, I wish I had been here sooner, they have two bathroom, game room to hang out, keno machine, took pix of the game room and bar,they have poker night, activities during the week, summer time corn hole,

Google the best burgers in shawnee. These were one of the top results. They had the Royals game on. I ordered a burger told the bartender that the whole reason I was there was because of my Google results. Seemed very pleased. The burger was delicious for a quick bar step in. I did enjoy the burger! The cook came out. I told him I was very pleased and he seemed very enthused and happy in general that I enjoyed his food. If I'm in that area I will definitely go back. Even if the cook was wearing a Blues shirt. ?
