My husband and I have been coming to Johnny’s Tavern for years, but our New Year’s Eve experience was extremely disappointing. One of the bartenders was completely out of control, screaming at customers and yelling at the other bartender behind the bar. She was loudly complaining about not being able to sell “bombs,” and I personally witnessed her taking shots while on the clock. The behavior was disruptive, unprofessional, and uncomfortable to watch. What made it worse was how openly disrespectful she was toward both her coworker and customers. I understand the service industry can be stressful, especially on busy nights, but this went far beyond that. The way she acted suggested this was not the first time she’s behaved this way. After watching her scream at several young male customers and berate the other bartender, my husband and I asked for our tab and left without even finishing our drinks because we were so uncomfortable. It’s unfortunate that one employee was able to ruin the experience for so many people on a night that should have been fun and celebratory. Sadly, we’ll be taking a break from Johnny’s Tavern because of this.

Great little sports bar and their daily specials are fantastic. Maybe my favorite taco Tuesday spot. Have been here for chiefs games and fights and even when it's a full house the service is great. All the staff do a great job bringing the energy. Love this spot!

It’s really frustrating when you order pickup and they don’t have pickup parking. You are lucky to find a spot and then hike back with your food.

Johnny's Tavern no longer offers the Greek Salad 😢.

Love the burger special on Thursday! Smash burgers are amazing and with the ring/fri combo it's a great deal! Unlike my Johnnys up in Parkville they do not force you to dine in or buy a $4 soft drink to order the special. So it's actually a real special and good value for money.

We ordered carry out tonight. Three 78 Classic burgers with fries and 1 coke. They didn't include ANY toppings in the bag. No lettuce, tomato or onions. NOTHING. I called and was out on hold forever. They lost a customer. This place is overrated.

Our group had a casual happy hour at Johnny’s and we were very impressed by the service, the food, and the overall atmosphere! We had a private section with dedicated servers who were extremely attentive! Our appetizers and meals were tasty! You have to try the fried pickle dip!

We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon just to check out the place.
I am thoroughly impressed. A great place to watch sports and have a Brewkie. Service was great and the atmosphere so much fun.

So good. The staff was absolutely wonderful. We are driving from Raleigh to Denver, and stopped to get some KC Chief vibes. Did not disappoint. She gave us solid route tips. Offered us to-go waters. She is lovely. Promote immediately.
