Food was delicious and Emily took great care of us! Firecracker shrimp tacos were especially good. Very kid-friendly, too!

Great bar if you can get a table inside. Service is slow, especially when busy. Service to the patio basically doesn’t exist. But they have weekly specials every day, which are great.

Normally I have a pretty good experience here, but there was a minor situation and the manager Jess when addressing it was pretty rude and condescending. I like Johnny’s but I’ll probably go to other locations going forward.

I really wanted to give this place more stars. They do fundraising for local schools, they are always packed and have a great place for viewing sports, and we had excellent service.
But when it comes down to it, this is a place for food and drinks, and both were pretty sub par. The cheeseburger was bland, the fries (both regular and sweet potato) were mushy not crisp, and the drinks we ordered from the bar were just....gross. An old fashioned is a pretty easy staple we get most places and we could tell by the looks this was going to disappoint , and it did. My husband drank it anyway, but whatever cocktail I got from the bar I couldn't even finish, it was gross....and filled with so much ice it was just a watered down not great drink. Our family of four spent about 100 bucks with tip and I literally would rather have gone anywhere else in Shawnee....and in the future will make sure to.

We had my daughter's baby shower at Johnny's. The private room was large enough for our group and we were able to decorate. We ordered different appetizers for everyone and they were all delicious!

Terrible, ordered food and had burnt Wilson wings, our pizza was slimy and served on paper plates. Our server was absent most of the evening. We turned in $40 cash found by entrance on way in, asked hostess on way out if anyone claimed. Told my spouse they didn’t know what she was talking about, and when turned around watch them laugh. It was not our money to start, but to know now if someone does ask, they will lie.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but had to express my frustration with this one.
My wife and I typically would order from the Overland Park (119th) location and it has been excellent! We love the pizza and their house made ranch to dip it in.
Due to convenience though we’ve ordered to-go from the Shawnee location. This was the second time ordering pizza to-go from the Shawnee location with a bad experience. First time the pizza was unevenly cooked, they forgot our ranch, and just was not up to par compared to the 119th location.
Then this time the pizza again not up to par and the ranch was loose in the bag, which I didn’t notice until I got home, but it was a mess.
Not going back to this location again. We will stick with 119th.
