Food is great and staff comes off as friendly. BUT are inexperienced. Drive thru messes up orders too often. Handing out incomplete orders, missing items, and they don’t give you a receipt unless you ask for it. A simple check before handing out the food would prevent this. Getting an order wrong once is not a problem. But it’s been so consistent to the point of leaving this review to call out of the consistent inaccuracies. No one likes having to check their bag and holding up line before driving off, but that is necessary with this location. Check your bag.

I need to update my experience here as it was much different than last time. We went inside this time so that might be why. It was busy but I still got my order (latte and plain and simple) pretty quick. It was very good and my latte was much much better than last time. The girl with the blue hair is very sweet and seemed to be leading the team very well

Disappointed. I’ve been huge fan and regular customer since McLain’s opened. It’s been a huge boost to downtown Shawnee. But really bummed the past few weekends when you were out of pastries by 10-10:30 am. Really? I fully understand that you’re going to have a lot of weekend business. But since you’re a bakery, it’s kinda crazy not to have anything. Poor planning? Greedy customers? Whiny me? Please bake more. To paraphrase Tom Pendergast, “The people are hungry.”
Stopped here for breakfast before continuing a road trip and it was delicious! The cherry danish was soft and sweet and the breakfast burritos are SO good. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be back.

Ordered a boat load of Christmas cookies for family and friends and they were rock hard, nobody would eat them. Very disappointed because our in person experiences have been pretty good. Won’t ever do that again! Recommend checking your product before carrying them out.
