I enjoyed the food for the most part,but it is expensive for the quality. I do love the hot levels but the formula is very similar to Dave’s Hot Chicken. I definitely plan to try the wings,that’s next on the list. I love their sauces,it adds flavor to the food.

The Comeback Sandwich is aptly named. It's what I choose for the weekly treat that my diet allows me, every single week. Unlike a lot of chicken restaurants that drench everything in sugary corn syrup, Mother Clucker's Nashville-style chicken is refreshingly, unapologetically spicy. Spice level is, of course, subjective...but for comparison I eat Thai food, and this chicken ain't cluckin' around! The vinegary red cabbage slaw accentuates the spice, and there's just enough Cluck sauce on it to slightly soothe the burn. For the uninitiated, I would recommend starting with the "Weak stuff" heat level, rather than the OG Plain. That way, you get to experience the Nashville flavor without too bad of a burn.The sandwich is enormous, and messy, as all the best sandwiches are. I have seen some complaints here about the occasional sandwich falling apart. Mother Clucker makes everything fresh to order, this is real food that isn't meant to sit in a Door Dash driver's front seat for 45 minutes. To ensure your sandwich's structural integrity, enjoy it immediately, when it is fresh. I have also developed a technique of leaving the toothpick in the center and eating around it until the sandwich is a bit smaller (seriously, it's HUGE!)
