On October 23, 2025, my wife and I went to happy hour at Paulo & Bill. We ordered a pizza and a charcuterie board from the happy hour menu.
The pizza came out perfectly crisp, and the charcuterie board was generous and well-balanced. Robert provided recommendations and excellent service — attentive without being intrusive.
Here is the crazy thing. We casually mentioned to Robert that we were staying at the hotel across the parking lot. I forgot my jacket and someone from the restaurant took the time to bring it to our hotel.

I always have a great time at Paulo’s! I absolutely love their lasagna, Deburgo Pasta, and the new chef has great features! Their desserts are amazing too! The wine dinners are fun too! Service has always been on par!

Orin was a wonderful server, the managers came to our table more than once, and the food was AMAZING. We ordered the lasagna, bread service with pesto, side order of mushrooms, bow tie pasta, and the phyllo dough brownie. All five stars! We also ordered the lemon cake, of which we would not recommend

When we come to KC, we often stick to Westport, The Plaza, West Bottoms, etc for meals. This time, we ventured a little outside of those areas and found Paulo’s. Wow.
Everything was good from the initial greeting until the end of the evening. The menu looked great, to the extent that it was tough to choose.
Prices were very reasonable.
The servers were excellent; friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
I’m thrilled we found this place. We will be back!

Great experience, no waiting, very helpful and efficient Staff. Above all that food was delicious. I was there with my friend for lunch. The Paulo's Chicken Salad and the Grilled Atlantic Salmon Salad were both very tasty and filling.

My daughter came with friends for homecoming as we have eaten there a lot and love it. Unfortunately we were disappointed when she showed up and they were only given one menu for “dance” specials that did not have any items on there that she eats. No other options were available and they were not made aware of this special menu ahead of time either when we made the reservation or when we received reminders. We love the food but had she known they might have picked a different option for dinner. Thus she paid $32 for a bowl of buttered noodles and a soda. That is rather high priced.

The initial atmosphere seems very upscale, but for some reason we got seated by the bar and TVs, which is NOT classy. It is a beautiful restaurant on the inside. The exterior definitely belies that. Everything we ate was delicious. Classic dishes. Limited gluten free options, but there were a few. Our waiter wasn’t horrible, but definitely struggled a bit with a good rhythm of checking on us/hovering too much. It wasn’t overly busy, but he may have had all the tables in our area, I didn’t pay attention to that part.

Food was good and hopefully the start of updating a tired menu. They also need to update a wine list that is lacking for quality wines by the glass and overpriced.

Food was delicious as usual, but it was the service that really stood out. Our server was absolutely amazing. I've been in the service industry for over 30 years, and I've hired and trained many, many servers, and she's a keeper. I just lament the fact that I can't recall her name, though I do remember its unique. Great food is always made better when coupled with great service. It was a wonderful evening with family from out of town and I'm so glad we brought them to Paolo and Bill's
5 stars!! Under new management and better than ever! Fresh updated menu. Had the Lobster Paperdelle pasta and wow. Fabulous! Excellent service as well. A class act.

The recipe for the Viva Italia Salad dressing has changed to make it into a sickly sweet rather than the traditional refreshing dressing it's had for over 30 years now. I feel like i've genuinely lost something very precious after going here what for has been the entirety of my life.

We went here for dinner tonight, & were blown away! The service was fantastic. Our waitress was attentive & pleasant. They have a new chef, & the presentation of the meal is so much better. He is also making homemade noodles with a very simple recipe. They were delicious. The new manager was very nice, & cares that his customers are happy. We have always been fans of this restaurant, but they have really leveled up! I highly recommend giving it a try!

Excellent service, very welcoming and personable. The Alfredo sauce and Caesar dressings are notably fresh and delicious, rich. My favorite was the garlic bread! Serving it with a little pesto and garlic confit, my standards for garlic bread have been raised. Awesome food, will be back!
