I used to love this place when it was on Johnson, so when I found out it had moved we had to go.So sad what's become of this place. Awful service. Awful food. Games were out of order. Change machine out of order. Tables were dirty. So disappointed.

Nice fusion of food truck Mexican, and brick and mortar. The tacos are all really good, and for non-meat eaters they have grilled jackfruit tacos, which are pretty darn good.

Hey!! This is an eclectic hidden gem with Food Network quality tacos!! I can’t stress this enough. It’s so good. They smoke all their meats/proteins, they even offer Jackfruit!? Their VERDE salsa is darn amazing and made in house it’s zesty/smokey/fresh, the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Zocalo’s can’t touch it.We would say this is a TexMex fusion pub. Cozy and clean. THEY NEED A MUCH BIGGER PARKING LOT. Heck park across the street or down the street whatever. You’ll be glad you did. Their Hibiscus Paloma was soooo good, I had 2. This place does give Mission Taco a run for their money. No joke. They have sports playing and classic rock in the back ground. Super chill vibe. Ooh and they have a pool tablet, next time we’ll bring our cues. Shawnee needs help bring some business this way for these dedicated foodies. It’s obvious this is what they’re passionate about.OOH AND they use planet safe straws!! Shawnee COOL people and hippies unite!!!!!Pardon the limited photos, we were too distracted eating the yummies to take photos but we snagged some pre meal shots!!! :PTrust the source here. I promise you won’t dislike the food. It’s terrific.

We stumbled in on a cold, rainy Friday night for an unexpected date night but it was about half an hour before close. Despite the time we were seated and well taken care of. We enjoyed the decorations and music, watched basketball in the multiple TV's and talked about bringing kids back next time. That was all before we'd tasted the food.Their street corn dip was, without a doubt, the best thing we had eaten in recent memory. I asked if they sold it by the gallon because I could see snacking on it through out the night. I ordered tacos as my main and they were the most dynamic, layered with flavor tacos I have probably ever had. My husband ordered the gut buster burrito and it was the perfect mix of satisfying burrito fillings with smoked pork (we felt it was a good nod to KC BBQ and we know that takes time and skill to make). He actually took half home and we're sharing it with kids now!Very fresh flavors and ingredients and food you will not be able to find everywhere. Counting down the days until we can return!

A very disappointing dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant was practically empty with only two tables with customers and it took them 40 minutes or more to get our food to the table. Our nachos had very limited toppings so little I had to request more queso to cover the chips. When the waitress returned she said she had to charge me more to get more queso from the kitchen which was ridiculous after all the time we waited and had sub par food, I felt they should have bent over backwards to make it correct. The waitress was friendly, but unable to really make the experience better. Overall this restaurant is ok, but not the quality or service of other restaurants I’ve been to recently. I’m sad to write this because we liked the restaurant before it moved from downtown.

Great local owned restaurant. Mexican meets bbq and the food did not disappoint! The owner is very friendly and shared how sourcing locally grown ingredients is important to him! We will be back!!

We wanted to try the actual restaurant after eating at the food truck. We were told to sit wherever. We sat at a table and waited over 10 minutes and no one ever even gave us menus. There were 4 other tables and a few at the bar. The waitress walked by our table at least 5 times. We left...she thanked us on our way out. Sorry we won't be back.

We came here tonight hopeful that this might be a authentic Mexican restaurant. Upon walking in here I felt like I was on A old episode of the Rosanne show and we were walking in The Lobo. I must say the service is great. Our server seemed to be tired or a bit confused but she was nice, and she tried and actually did a good job. The other gentleman working with her was very polite. For an appetizer we tried the dip sampler. The corn dip is pretty good, the guacamole is ok at best and the Rojo salsa had a odd musty taste and neither one of liked it. With that said we brought the leftovers of corn dip and guacamole home. I can improve the guacamole. I tried the Sampler platter with the chorizo and asada taco. The asada taco was good at best certainly not great. The chorizo taco was rather sweet, I despise sweet meals. The rice was good the beans weren't good to either one of us. The salsa verde had the funky musty taste as well. Unfortunately our experience was not worth the $45 we spent and I can't image coming back. I should have gone with my gut it was about 6:30pm on a and Saturday night and the Lobo vibed place wasn't very busy, lesson learned.

Run don't walk. If you like tacos and love culinary masterpieces, take the time. From taco truck to brick and mortar the unique nature of the traditional Mexican cuisine has been upgraded. These flavor combos and textures are phenomenal and unmatched from any local taqueria. This is a definite new favorite and a will be a frequent go to in my restaurant utility belt.

Moved here from California and haven't found clean, healthy, fresh Mexican food like this since leaving. That has now changed. This spot was a random find, we were starving and walked away absolutely impressed at the food. We live in the city so it's a bit of a haul for a hike, but we will absolutely go time and time again.

Stopped by Sancho Streetside for an early dinner on a Saturday. It wasn't busy and we were able to sit down right away. Their margaritas are on the sweet side for my taste, but their beer deals are great! We got the bbq nachos and some street tacos. The pork luau street tacos were my favorite hands down. The pork on the nachos was delicious as well. The portions are very good sized- the nachos were a ton of food.
