My husband and I were visiting from out of town. We went at 7pm on a Saturday, the time frame they should have been busy. There were two other small groups there and a food coach in their parking lot...not a promising sign. The place was nice on the inside but had cheap plastic table liners, which is to bee expected in a seafood place. We sat down and I ordered my drink my husband ordered his beer, the waitress brought out my drink and told.my husband they were out of beer. During their conversation I found a small cockroach in the foam (should have been foam in a Mai Tai). I showed it to the waitress, after she took the drink back my husband looked at me and said "now we know why there is a food catch in their parking lot and this place is empty, just imagine what's hiding in the food"....so we left immediately.

Service sucks!!! Walked out 2 different times because after 1 hour did not have food when others that came after us were being served. Very unorganized and most servers are not very pleasant. There is a male server that is very good and very pleasant.

Soooooo...we tried Seafood Island for Valentine's day and were not disappointed. Good shrimp, mussels, potatoes, green beans with broccoli, 1/2 ear of corn, hush puppies and 2 beverages for just under $42. We'll be back.

If you haven't been here then you need to get out and go! Choose your spice level and I would recommend the seafood boil. Can get enough of this place 5 Stars!

Excellent value and food! Great service. Crab legs are delicious! I got the house seasoning and regular spicy, which was the perfect amount of spice. I think they snuck in an extra potato, which was more than welcome! Will definitely visit

Food is off the chain if you are looking for the best seafood visit you will not regret it kind of pricy but let me tell you its worth it ? we also live in Topeka Kansas but will make the trip to get the seafood ❤️

The food was good. We went on a slow night and there were hardly any customers in there so everything came out pretty timely and plenty hot.My only knock is that we had $120 gift card and we planned to basically spend about 100 of it and leave the remaing 20 as a tip for our server. Almost every restaurant I've been to I've been able to do this, they run the gift card and hand me a regular reciept with a tip line at the bottom, I write I want to give and it just comes off the balance of the gift card. Unfortunately, we were not able to do that here.So just keep in mind that if you have one of their gift cards you need to also have extra cash on hand to tip.
