Nice place. Stopped here while waiting for my wife. Had a really good grilled cheese with bacon and curly fries. The bartender was excellent, courteous and attentive, but not overly. If it wasn't so far from my house, I'd be here all the time.

Nice little "hole in the wall " bar. People are always so nice- fellow customers and staff. Food is good bar food!
Bar West is local neighborhood bar and restaurant you wish was just around the corner. The food is great and service even better. The Westwich sandwich with a side of mac n cheese is a family favorite. The manager celebrates with kids when they win soccer games and remembers their orders. If you want a place where you immediately feel comfortable, this is the place for you. Happy hour starts at 2pm (earliest I know around KC) and there are lots of TV’s to watch your favorite sports. The road closures are a nuisance but won’t stop us from coming in. I would be so sad to lose a great local place due to construction.

A nice little sports bar that's located in a strip mall just off the highway, right next to the hotel we were staying at. Went in for lunch and had the daily special, which was a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and fries for $12! All of the prices are very reasonable, especially as someone coming in from Colorado! We also tried the cheese curds, wings, and loaded fries. The sandwich was packed full of steak, mushrooms, peppers, onions, and cheese! The steak was tender and well seasoned. The fries were fresh cut, hot, crispy, and way too salty, lol. They were still good, though. The cheese curds were hot crispy and creamy. Seasoned with what looked like parsley, they were also delicious. Wings were perfectly cooked! Hot, crispy outside with a juicy, well cooked center. The loaded fries were the same. Good, not great. A little salty, but git evened out by the cheese and sour cream toppings. Above all, the server was sooooo nice! The food came out incredibly fast and fresh! We were very impressed!! They also serve their drinks in Ball aluminum cups! Great choice for sustainability!!

i’ve been here multiple times and for the first time my id has gotten denied by a new bartender that i’ve never seen before. to say the least very outraged. btw im a 22 years old.
