It is a great but also basic breakfast place, it is a little harder if you are trying to eat healthy at all though. I went with a ham steak, but it was very greasy. Service was great and quick. They were able to hold our reservation for about 10 minutes also.

The Big Biscuit on Shawnee Mission was EXACTLY what my heart was hoping for on a Tuesday morning breakfast date! Kalen was our server and gave kind and generous hospitality while accommodating my request to pay our check early as we had a quick turnaround to another activity —so seamless! The “kitchen sink” bowl we got was AMAZING and even sharing it with me and my husband, this will still feed us for at least 2 more meals! The sticky bun was also delightful and I can’t wait to come back again.Highly recommend!!

I really enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant. Friendly and fast service. They even warm the syrup for waffles without being asked yo do it.

We wanted to love it. My husband enjoyed his more than I did mine, he had sausage and hashbrowns with french taost. My bacon was hard and cold, the eggs were over cooked and rubbery, and the country potatoes were chewy and just there. I tried gravy for the potatoes and was unpleasantly surprised that a biscuit and gravy restaurant has the most bland gravy ever. The pancakes were good and the warm syrup was nice.

Our waitress Rebecca was exceptional. Very attentive to our needs. Remembered our names and used repeatedly. The food was great, had the Titanic, and split it between 2 ppl.

Had the BEST customer service there by a young lady named Dee or Vee? She has beautiful braids and the best personality. It was really loud and I couldn’t hear that well but I’m from out of town and she was the best service we had the entire trip. The food was amazing and the portions are great. Every time I’m in town I’m going to make sure to stop here at least once and I’ll be recommending to everyone.

The best biscuits I’ve ever had, smothered in peppery sausage gravy: quite possibly one of the tastiest, most comforting foods on the planet. Proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
