My son and I stopped at Tony’s after a long day of showing houses and it hit the spot! The staff was extremely friendly, and the service was on point. The bread was fresh, and the food was delicious. This was our first time at the Shawnee location and it won’t be our last.❤️
We walked in and it was so dark you could barely see and it was freezing. They ran out of kid’s menus so asked if paper ones were ok. The adult menu is HUGE and took up half the table b/c they sat 5 of us at a 4 person table. They were not overly busy with several tables open around us. So we had 5 waters plus 4 other drinks, which left little room for small plates that were already on the table and they forgot to give us an extra set of silverware and plate for the 5th person.
I ordered off the paper menu b/c it was easier to handle. I just wanted a pizza big enough for all us, the 16”. When it finally came to the table it was in a cardboard box b/c apparently the paper menu was a to go menu and they don’t serve 16” in house and the waitress forgot. The pizza was average but nothing spectacular. She also brought us a basket of bread knots that she forgot to give us when we sat down. It looked good (as far as I could tell b/c it was so dark and every time the front door opened I was blinded by the sunlight) but was cold, hard and had no taste! It also came with a small bowl of some sort of chili pepper olive oil concoction that my kids wouldn’t eat so I asked for a small thing of pizza sauce for dipping to make the bread taste better. I was told that they don’t do that. Average prices, descent pizza but we won’t be back.
They have gluten free options and are really nice and friendly owners
Small place. Food was good
Really torn about this place. My friend an i went there and i thought i was treating her to something nice on a friday night. Food was pretty good service seemed to be good. Met the owner and i believe his father. But at the end i circled the 18% option was supposed to be a total of 86 dollars. When I checked my bank last night I was charged $102. Food was good owner seemed nice but make sure you check your bank account when you leave because they will double the tip you leave. Really ruined my opinion on going back.
Toni's gets a five star!! The homemade pizza crust and delicious sauce made this dinner fantastic. I wish I took a picture of the tiramisu but it's one of the top tiramisu's that I have ever had. They make it fresh in house. Toni himself grated fresh Parmesan cheese on all of our dishes. He is funny and charming.
Gluten Free DELIGHT!!! The chicken marsala. The BEST I’ve ever had!!!
Must try!!!
Ordered carry out. Lasagna, ravioli, spaghetti works, and chicken parm. Every dish was wonderful in flavor and portion size. We've eaten at their former location on Santa Fe, but with the expansion of the I35 / Santa Fe exchange, they had to relocate. Glad they found a new home that isn't too far from us. We'll hopefully get to dine-in in the near future. The only negative about our experience was the online company they use to get orders. The website was slow and clunky. It took much longer than it should have to enter what we wanted.
If you're closing your restaurant for an entire week, might be good to update your hours on Google Maps at the very least...
We had heard good things about Toni’s and we are always excited about new options in West Shawnee. Overall we had a great experience and huge portions and reasonably priced! My husband and I went in on a Thursday for dinner. Things were busy and hostess said our wait was about 30 minutes with 2 large parties finishing up in the dining room, no biggie, we opted to sit at a high top in the bar which was just a few minutes instead. Waitress was ok, she couldn’t make suggestions on food or wine and shared that she hasn’t worked a shift in 2 weeks and “didn’t know what was up”. Although, she was polite and very attentive. I ordered the crab and shrimp Alfredo special. Sauce and shrimp were delicious, but I was turned off that it was full of imitation crab meat cut in huge chunks and only a few shrimp. To be fair, I should have asked and should have known better to expect anything different in KS. Next time, I will just order shrimp or chicken Alfredo because the sauce really was amazing. My husband’s chicken parm was huge and very tasty. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert and it was frozen solid. Overall it’s a nice spot in west Shawnee and probably has some menu and service kinks to work out, but we will be back!
