Been going to Twisted Fresh in Shawnee since they opened. Very consistent, with the occasional hiccup. It’s to be expected from a restaurant. Hard to be perfect. BUT - usually good food, prepared well, and VERY GOOD proportions. Tonight however - they knocked my socks off! Had the Mango Tango Shrimp Tacos and they were fantastic! If you can’t handle a little heat, might want to stay away from this one. Really nice mixture of sweet salsa and some good heat. Outer soft shell, crunchy inner shell and overflowing contents. Three good sized tacos! Nice job guys. It’s fun to be pleasantly surprised from time to time.
The service is severely lacking and the food does not live up to the (likely fake) reviews. Worst of all, I watched the employees as they handled cash and then immediately prepared food without washing or using gloves.
A fast healthy alternative
The food is pretty good here. When you order the staff acts like they're doing you a favor. Definitely not customer service-oriented. Expect to wait a long time to get your food too. I've never been here and got a quick meal. It is pretty popular which is probably why the tables are seldom cleaned.

Mahi Mahi tacos are so fresh & scrumptious! High recommendations for the Buffalo Chicken salad as well!

When it’s good, it’s really good but getting to be hit and miss. I found no cashews or avocado in my “chicken cashew avocado wrap” today. It was mostly just bland flour tortilla. I’ve had much better there.

Won’t be coming back anytime soon. I used to really enjoy Twisted Fresh, but I’ve had two disappointing to-go experiences in a row.
About a month ago, I asked for a side of blue cheese, but instead they dumped a large amount directly onto my wrap, making it soggy/soupy and I couldn’t finish it.
Today, I brought my dad there for the first time, and it was another letdown. I ordered the BBQ chicken wrap and found a large, uncut chunk of onion with the green sprout still inside. My dad only ate half of his wrap after biting into two very hard pieces of something—possibly chicken bone.
Really disappointed in the quality lately.

Food is pretty decent but service is slow and the guy with a beard is pretty unfriendly. Also feel like they are starting to nickel and dime customers. I order double meat because their servings have got pretty chincy. On top of that when I ask for more dressing they tell me I need to pay more for the sauce. $18 for my salad wasn't already enough? Hoping the bad reviews you are getting lately changes some attitudes and policies.

We love the Mahi Mahi Tacos! We’re from out of town and make sure to get the tacos anytime we come in to town. Twisted came through with amazing customer service when we ordered from the wrong location and they made our order free of charge no questions asked. They went above and beyond to keep making it a great experience. Great food and great service! We keep coming back any chance we get. Thank you!
Great food with a healthier and cool vibe than regular fast food! Mahi tacos is the way to go!
Food is great, but the slowest service imaginable! Not just a one time occurrence, but every time we try it, it’s at least 20 minute wait to get your food. Rarely more than 3 families here at a time.
Management hope you see this, the service needs improvement and you could be bring in so much more.
