Not worth the hype. A reservation is a must at this tiny spot. The service is slow. There is one hostess/waitress and one bartender. While the decor is nice, the tables are jammed close together that my friend could barely get in and out of her seat. The drinks have so much ice in them that you're probably only getting a quarter of a pour in the glass. You also only get a 90 minute reservation, however, in this case, that was fine. All I could really hear were the people sitting next to me, not my friend across the table. We were ready to leave before our time was up. Also of note, there's no food, but we knew that going in.

We have come here many times, as well as drastic measures. Today, one of our friends is having birthday, we got 5 people here specifically for the new drinkLittle storm. We walk in around 10:20pm, the girl mentioned they can’t make the cotton candy because they already turned down the machine. We ordered other drinks, and I explained this disappointing situation to our friends. The waitress however, was listening our conversation and interrupting us, claimed about her feelings. It’s very unpleasant about her attitude, Amazing, it’s our time and our friend’s birthday, not about how she feels and how important about her. Especially she attempt to interrupt our group, argue and making her statement to ask us out. Seriously disappointing, we wish the owner could be here and see the situation. No complain about the drink, all the time ever. Better training on some entitled waitress will be necessary to maintain the old customers. ( we came here 3 times in 2 weeks btw)

This is a hidden gem in Johnson County! Intimate cocktail bar with an amazing vibe. The only place around with an extensive Mocktail (Non-alcohol) menu! Great for a unique couple outing or meetup with a friend. Staff is professional and great!

Wow what a gem. First time here and I'm already trying to plan another trip. The drinks are all really interesting, tasty, and swoon worthy. Like so beautiful and whimsical you don't even want to drink it. Pretty As A Picture is a really delicious, light drink. It's tangy but not too sour. The surprise standout for me was Wayfaring Stranger. It tastes like you're drinking curry haha that sounds gross but was v good. Tip- make a rsvp because this place is small! They also don't serve food but there's a food truck parked outside that makes the most delicious Cuban sandwiches. Buy from outside and bring them in to eat. Such a treat.

This place has quickly became one of my top three bars in Kansas City area! You really can't go wrong with any drink (trust me, I have just about tried them all!). The name Wild Child makes perfect sense for the drinks offered as they are definitely wildly different and in a good way. They also regularly add new cocktails which are always fun to try. The creativity behind these drinks is top tier and I am eager to see what new drinks pop up on the menu in the future. They offer a great selection of mocktails and without a doubt are the best mocktails you can find in the area. Rather you drink or not, you will find something here to please those taste buds! My top three favorites are Wayfaring Stranger, Pretty as a Picture, and the Midori Sour. The Wayfaring Stranger might seem odd just looking at the ingredients, but don't let that fool you. The combination between the saffron liquor, orange peel cordial, and garam masala offer a perfect balance between a sweet and savory spice profile. The Pretty as a Picture is more on the fruity citrusy side of things and is just plain delicious. The Midori Sour really surprised me as I was expecting more melon flavor, but actually got pleasant notes of the Thai Basil along with a small hint of melon and citrus. It comes with a huge pile of shaved ice in the glass which slowly melts down into a slushy as you near the end of the drink. Perfect way to finish off the drink as the straw they give you has a little spoon! Don't forget to make reservations here as you will need them to get in. The service is fantastic and the atmosphere is a great vibe. Looking forward to visiting next time!

Came in today to sit at the empty bar for some drinks. The Front host said sorry we’re all book up. She didn’t even greeted us just straight up ask if we had reservation and we Said no. 1/2 of your restaurant is empty and 2 people sitting at the bar. I’ll spend my money somewhere else. Not coming back.
