Applewood Restaurant

Worst experience ever. Haven't tasted my order yet but the waitress was worthless. Was ordering to go and she said she'd give me a few minutes. Another kid came up to the register but said nothing, just started doing push-ups on the counter. No one offered me a seat or a menu. I hope my meal is edible. Service sucks.

Food wasn't the best it was basic, our new server was great but the one who helped our group bring the food was not nice at all very rude. The restaurant was nice decor n all that but just basic food had hamburger not a lot of flavor. But the strawberry salad my mom had was good.

Service was good. Ordered the ribeye and loaded baked potato with Spanish rice. I don’t think any Spaniards made the rice. The baked potato was decent. The ribeye was very small. I did order medium well but this was beyond done. JBS sent me the death certificate to confirm. I think McDonald’s steak bagel was bigger and more edible. Nothing but gristle.

Their signature dish seems to be the country fried steak it was pretty good a little salty and it was hot. I couldn’t finish it all, after eating the baked potato from the previous entree.

Baked Tater..butter, sour cream Corn Cause she messed.up I asked for.Green Beans...She offered to get me a side of them I chose not .. of &a roll.. /ice water&lemon.. total was $11.86. You could cut the C.F.Steak with your forkk.. Pretty good 1st there..& WILL retur.😀

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the chicken skillet for breakfast to go before I jumped in for a shower and let me tell you. It was amazing!!! The presentation (to go is usually just thrown together most places). The portions were huge, got many compliments from family. It was delicious and best of all…. $16.99. And that’s because I asked for 3 eggs. Absolutely recommend. The cashier was so sweet, even though she was a bit under the weather, she was so nice and recommended the Sunday buffet. I will definitely make sure to get my fuel and food here every time I come by this area! Thanks Applewood!

I’ll start with the food was delicious!! Service was quick and friendly!! Chicken fried steak,mashed potatoes, corn!!
Generous portions!! I can always tell when a restaurant is struggling to stay in business and keep the high quality! I’ll start with the CFS, there was very little steak I mean very!! Less than a 16th on an inch, it was as thin as a strip of bacon. Maybe that was just the luck I have, then I had just a spot of gravy to cover all this breading I was gonna have to eat, so I asked for a side of gravy, and was charged $3.49 for it, I asked doesn’t this come with a roll? And was told they looked bad so I wasn’t getting my roll I paid for, or even a piece of bread. The potatoes and corn was awesome the and all thing considered the steak was perfectly cooked bill was $20.00 I left a $3.00 tip three star for now gonna try again in the morning. As a driver I miss having sit down restaurants in truck stops.
