Service is always fast and friendly, the decor cute and homey with a western feel. Great sauces, pork tenderloins, and onion rings, too! I generally don't need this much sauce, but I was really feeling the spicy sauce today, don't judge 😂.”

Our food came out quick and super hot so you know it was all made to order and fresh! The Micheladas were good and the mango margarita was too! “Whenever my job brings me to KC I make a point of going to The Hide Out. Back in the day I was being sought-after by some yellow bellies who called themselves Bounty Hunters. So I'm hiding out at The Hide Out. I saw them first and jumped down a hatch that offered a more private exit. Besides this feature the place rocks. I drink to get drunk and these guys get me home every some how. Good chow, great service, and a very elegant restroom. You know your close when you spot the burnt ruins of some trouble maker's compound.”

“I've been going here for years - into my childhood (if it's still the same owners). The staff is very friendly, they'll cater to any allergies, and they're very quick to have the food ready. The food is delicious! When I order takeout, it's still steaming hot when I get home!”

“The people who write these reviews are terible review writers.The restaurant is good, and the food is well its subway, but if you are polite to the workers they will do better and they will be more likely to be polite to you. I know people just expect others to be nice to them even when they are rude but it feels nice to be apricated. Especially since they are essential workers have have been there for you in the during the midst of a pandemic. Do better and be positive!?”

“I pulled into the Sonic in Spring Hill like a man on a noble quest for tots and cherry limeade. The carhop skated (okay, walked) to my car with such determination you’d think she was delivering a newborn baby. My mozzarella sticks were hotter than the surface of the sun, which is either a blessing or curse—still deciding.

The drinks? Immaculate. Sonic could probably solve international conflicts if they just handed out Route 44 slushes at the border. The tots? A little too crunchy, but honestly, I respect the commitment. It felt like they were daring my teeth to be stronger.

I did, however, have a brief existential crisis when the intercom person said, “Is that all for you today?” Like… is it? Is it really all for me today? Thanks for making me question my life, Sonic.

All in all, 10/10 would awkwardly fumble with my debit card here again.”

“The BEST Asian restaurant in the Northland! The food is absolutely amazing—every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the attention to detail is top-notch. You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love. Chris, the owner, always greets us with a warm smile, and he and his staff make you feel truly welcome every time. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and such a friendly atmosphere—Saki is hands down our favorite spot!”

“I think I saw an ad for Yafa Cafe on Facebook. We are always searching for good Mediterranean food, it's hard to find in Kansas City. Seeing Kibbeh on the menu automatically moved them to the top on the list. We really enjoyed our meals and appetizers! The kibbeh was good, the spanakopia was good. All of our meals were good. I really enjoyed the creamy chicken plate. The chicken shawarma was good. Everyone liked the kabobs (chicken and beef). We will definitely be back! The owner and employees were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!”

“First time eating here and it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and explained their different entres. The food was delicious with a lot of flavor. Our kid's are big into wrestling and loved all the decore and wall paintings. 10/10! We'll be back!”

“Words can not describe how cool and authentic this place truly is… I’m only 20 years old but in my short life (living in Overland Park) never have I had such a genuinely unique experience at a restaurant in town. I immediately was taken away by how amazing the scenery was when you walk in, everything from the posters on the wall to the memorabilia on the shelf’s has a story behind it. Perhaps the most interesting thing about the place is the bike on the counter along the back side of restaurant. I wish I could tell you the story behind it but if I did it wouldn’t give you a reason to come here, so for that reason, I’ll let you hear it for yourself in person. The story teller behind it all is the owner, Bill. I had a chance to meet Bill briefly after me and my buddies finished up our meals and holy cow I’m glad I was able to meet him. He is an amazingly interesting guy and easy to talk to. If you ever have a chance to say hi to him while you are in there I highly suggest you do so. Even with all these cool stories, there is still something about this place that people need to experience for themselves… the food! The selections are simple yet amazing looking. My experience with the spicy ramen was fantastic and it was presented exactly how I had imagined it. The flavor was as authentic as it gets for ramen (to my knowledge) and the spice level was very reasonable. I also got the squid balls, which I was hesitant at first to eat (because of the name) but trust me they are amazing! With all this being said, that was only my first time being there.
