Dos Amigos is an incredible restaurant in the small town of Sterling. I have eaten there about 20 times and everything I have ever gotten has been incredible. The flavors are strong and robust. The portions are nice and filling. This last time, I got the El Gordo and I had enough for two night's dinner.

I went to Sterling to catch the 4th of July parade! My first time here and had a delicious carne asada! It was cooked perfectly! What a fun place! The best was the adorable little girl that kept coming to the table to make sure I had everything I needed. She was the best!! ☺️ The food to me was authentic-you can always tell by the salsa and chips!!

I normally love this place but just now changed my mind. I was by myself so wanted to sit at the bar as opposed to taking a table by myself. Was told that was OK. As I took my stool I was very rudely told that I couldn't sit there. I eat here often but after today and my treatment will not be back. Food normally is very good and staff is normally very good but today soured a relationship of 6 years. A steady customer was lost due to being treated very poorly. Shame on you....
