The worst sonic in the us. please bulldoze this place down and put a dq instead

Went to Tonganoxie sonic tonight and had a bad experience. Pressed the button to place order and sat there for 10 minutes with no one answering. Proceeded to go through drive thru and nobody answered there either. The hardest thing to understand was they weren't that busy and the teenagers working were standing around inside talking and eating fries. Won't be back until they get it fixed.

We waited for 15 minutes after hitting the order button and all the cars around us ordered. I asked one of the workers and they said they can’t help. Then my food was wrong, missed a tot and burger was not made correctly.

9/14/25: they upsize with giving you the smaller size quantity of food but was already a mile down the road before I noticed charge and quantity. They don’t listen to: please include one extra sauce even after the window and server repeated what I ordered accurately and gave a 15% tip. Food was decent

Fritos chilli wrap was ice cold and my chicken sandwich was hard like a rock. I asked for easy ice and they filled the cup 2/3 of the way. Whoever runs this one definitely doesn't care much about how it does.

The girl that finally helped us was fantastic. The only issue today ended up being the wait to take our order. It was at least 20 minutes.
Came in the drive through line ordered a large ocean water and cheddar bites for my husband. I then received, cold cheddar bites and A LARGE WATER WITH BLUE COCONUT FLAVORING. Barely any ice, but seriously? A a blue coconut flavored water. Not like the sprite syrup wasn’t working and I got soda water but straight water. Had already drove all the way home for him to then take a sip and tell me. I do not understand how that happens…..

I stopped by the other day and got a cherry limeade, it was ok but it did not have cherries nor lime in it.Today I stopped and got lunch. It was awful absolutely awful. The cheese burger was like the mondo burgers off of good burger. Gross. The tator tots tasted like old grease, very unhappy with the food. Probably won’t be going back

Don't visit very often. Friday n Saturdays always out of things, mostly fries n tatter tots and some flavored drinks. Don't always get what you ordered. Service is what it is in any drive in. Their kiosks are beat up because people don't know how to drive up to them or pull out an a lot of them don't work anymore. Had my card lifted some years ago. So, now I always pay with cash. Don't bother filing a complaint with the main office. Totally ineffective at best. Going to Bashor will only kick it up a half a notch and just not worth the effort, time or gas. This has been my experience with this drive-in. Hope yours has been better.
