Essentially I ordered at 1:35 p.m. I got my food after complaining at 2:35 p.m.. Worst experience at any food establishment I've had with service. I've never left the one star review but sometimes you just got to.

We were there a week ago with a medium size group, about 10. We had to ask other servers to have our server get us another round. Took almost 2 hours for everyone to get our food, and the last people to order were the first to get their food 30-40 minutes before the first people to order. Server was non interactive. The famous smoked prime rib had no flavor. 20 bucks would have been sufficient for the bland meal. Took 10 minutes for us to find the server to pay our bill. And still had a mandatory undeserved gratuity charge. Server could have easily made 150$ on cash tips from our group. Place also was not packed. Very disappointing. Worth a try for others but we will not be back for a while. We also waited 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated.

Great customer service and the food was delicious. Front staff was not much help with seating us though.

The food has improved since my last visit. The Tiger-que was a good pick, its almost twice as much food as the brisket platter for just a dollar more. The brisket was a little dry but the flavor was good. The Lenten options were delicious too. They should bring back the shrimp Poboy.

The food was not great, brisket was very dry and we had to return the rice because it was crunchy. It was exchanged for the macaroni and cheese which also very tasteless. The beer was great, but what frustrated me the most was the 2% credit card fee that they charge on debit transactions which by kansas law is illegal. I notified them before the charge was done that it was a debit card and that the fee should be removed. It wasn't and the manager simply said they are required to charge due to policy. Policies does not override laws. First time and last time I go here. Their 1.40 charge cost them multiple visits from me.

Two for dinner on Saturday night was very busy with a long back up from the kitchen. We had time and sampled the outstanding beer choices while we waited. The atmosphere attracts beer lovers and a food menu that is complete. We look forward to our next visit.

Might as well get rid of the handicap parking with how far away it is. Brisket was fatty and bland tasting. Burnt ends was brisket cut up. Noodles and chicken was cold. Root beer was flat.

Lots of empty tables. But still waited over 2 hours for a table. Tried to make reservation several times. DID NOT ANSWER PHONE. Left message no return. Manager was snippy “well that don’t count if you left message, I don’t have room for that size group, be 40 to 1 hour wait. Probably 2 or more for your group”. So irritating with so many tables that are empty. Get it together it is a Saturday night And we came a 5. Rediculous!!!!

Placed order to pickup. Fish and chips, coated with bread crumbs that fell off the fish. Soggy greased soaked fries. LJS has better fish. Wasn't worth over $50 for 2 orders. Will.never go there again. Down right Nasty food

We had reservations at 7. At that time it was Valentine's Day evening. There were alot of empty tables in our area. Our server was awesome but how our food came out was horrible. One of our friends ordered a Chicken Caesar salad for his meal. It was brought out first. Then all 5 other meals came a few minutes later separately too. The table beside us ordered after we did all their food came out before ours all together. It was all our first experience eating there. Came recommended by our friends. 2 couples drove 1 1/2 hours away to meet up. Not sure what happened but you also ran out of baked potatoes and mash potatoes Brisket and Burnt ends. We all spent over 300.00 or more combined. Oh ran out of Titos vodka. Seriously I am not sure if or when we will come back. We also know too many people that go there that know owners.
