“My wife woke up Sunday morning with an urge for bacon, so I told her I would get up and cook her some bacon. I asked if she wanted some eggs with her bacon and she said sure, but then decided she wanted someone else to cook for her. I don't know if that is something against my cooking or what, but we decided to go to the Iron Rail for brunch. I had the breakfast bowl and she had the big breakfast with pancakes. Of course I had to get her the Pig Rig! Everything was just great. Food was spot on, the atmosphere was great and we had great service! Guess my breakfast cooking days are over! No. But all in all it's a good variety and good quality. I was even surprised to see some sashimi. The noodle and fried rice dishes looked good as well, but I was focused on the sushi. It was after the peak lunch rush but service was extremely quick and friendly. “I took my Baby Doll, Vergie, to The Blue Moose for a wonderful Easter Brunch! Shout out to some outstanding Employees for giving us such a wonderful experience! I called several times before today, and talked to Autumn, who gave me perfect details on their brunch, and the process. Miguel, at the prime rib station, was really polite and sliced the prime rib perfectly. Our server, Karen was top notch, very personable, and did a fantastic job, and even took a couple pictures and a video for us. And Jill, the manager was so pleasant and appreciative to us! Multiple staff asked if I wanted a water or anything else while I waited, so I was impressed by the staff and their service. I ordered the biscuits and gravy special, while my friend ordered the full biscuits and gravy, then added eggs and hash browns. My meal was perfect on the portion size; enough to feel full, but not lethargic. Her meal looked amazing, but would have resulted in a nap afterward for me if I'd ordered it. The hash browns and eggs were good, but the biscuits and gravy stood out. I'll keep exploring the menu, but would definitely order this dish again.”

I've still been back multiples times with many other waitresses and was never treated this way. for the most part I absolutely lovw the reat of the staff. I came back tonight and have to listen to her talk badly about customes. Have to listen to the bartender tell her what she could be cleaning on her down time while she turns around and makes a remark and a smirk. Get rid of that one!”

The other patrons were all so friendly and it sincerely felt like we have been going there for uears and they were all old friends. There is a very large outdoor patio area and stage and I can't wait to see a band play here. Another thing that impressed me was (oddly) the bathroom. It is only a single person bathroom but it was very clean and didn't even smell like a bar bathroom. A little graffiti on the wall but that is expected at a bar. All in all, this is a great place, super laid back and so welcoming.”

You could see the steak but the were only 2 shrimp and a couple of strips of chicken and some steak loaded with red peppers. He said there was not any flavor to them at all. I got the burrito with ground beef, potatoes and cheese. I modified it from eggs, chorizo and potatoes. There was absolutely no flavor and it was so dry you could barely swallow it. The hamburger had no seasoning, it looked like just dry crumbled up meat the tortilla wasn't even warm. “I cannot recommend Shana cakes enough! my husband surprised me with a cake for my 30th birthday. He had difficulty finding a bakery near us that could make a gluten free cake, he called and messaged several bakeries and no one would get back with him except for Shana cakes. They were super understanding and accommodating. The cake was AMAZING. I was diagnosed with celiac disease a year ago and cake was one of the big things I missed. Not anymore, this was just as good as any gluten containing cake I've ever had. It was so delicious, I can't wait to order another one!”

“I enjoyed my generously portioned lamb gyro and fries. I could only eat half and it warmed up wonderfully for the next day's lunch. The service was great and the atmosphere is beautiful! (That incredible lighting!) I wish them great success as excellent Greek food is hard to find. I am excited to come back and try new items. Be prepared for limited seating. We were there at 12:45, but a table opened up after a few minutes. I would only suggest they add the option to tip if you are paying by card.”

“Burger Stand has been an institution in Lawrence KS, and the location in Topeka lives up to its sister location. My favorite is the classic burger (has white cheddar, tomato, lettuce, onion) on a side salad. I never eat buns so this is the perfect situation. Truffle fries are probably my favorite- they're always crispy and cooked as they're ordered. And don't forget the dipping sauces! All kinds of flavors available!”

“I took my Baby Doll, Vergie, to The Blue Moose for a wonderful Easter Brunch! Shout out to some outstanding Employees for giving us such a wonderful experience! I called several times before today, and talked to Autumn, who gave me perfect details on their brunch, and the process. Miguel, at the prime rib station, was really polite and sliced the prime rib perfectly. Our server, Karen was top notch, very personable, and did a fantastic job, and even took a couple pictures and a video for us. And Jill, the manager was so pleasant and appreciative to us! A Delicious buffet and fantastic service!”
