My wife and I go to The Shack for their awesome burgers. We generally go over the noon hour, which is very busy, and Christy does an amazing job serving us, always prompt, pleasant and attentive to our needs.
So here's the deal with this place... You are going to turn onto a gravel driveway and see a sign that looks like it is missing most of it's letters.... Keep going.... A local friend suggested the Philly cheese steak. I'm so grateful to him for that. Don't forget to add onions and peppers (jalapeño)! The onion rings and fried mushrooms were also delicious. Honestly, if we didn't know we were in Kansas, we could have sworn we were in northern Wisconsin. It felt like home.
