“This is a great place to go have some cocktails and throw some axes with friends. They have a great staff and management and owner. You will not be disappointed with all the fun you can have at this place I can’t recommend this anymore. It’s amazing.“
“A local friend suggested the Philly cheese steak. I'm so grateful to him for that. Don't forget to add onions and peppers (jalapeño)! The onion rings and fried mushrooms were also delicious. Honestly, if we didn't know we were in Kansas, we could have sworn we were in northern Wisconsin. It felt like home.“

“I went there on a Monday night and it was a fun time! They had karaoke and that's always a blast. I'm not from the area so I just stopped in and everyone there was pretty welcoming. The bartenders were great. I went to another bar before this one just because it was closer to my hotel and I didn't enjoy it nearly as much. I would highly recommended this bar if you're looking for a bar with kinda that small town feel and looking for a fun time. Everyone was so laid back. If I ever end up in Topeka again I'll definitely go back.“
“I haven't had food here yet but the food I saw coming out of their little kitchen looked amazing. If you get the nachos, make sure you're hungry. That thing is served on a platter. Our bartender, Jessica was amazing as was the cook. It was our first time there and they took the time to sit and talk with us and make us feel welcome. The other patrons were all so friendly and it sincerely felt like we have been going there for uears and they were all old friends. There is a very large outdoor patio area and stage and I can't wait to see a band play here. Another thing that impressed me was (oddly) the bathroom. It is only a single person bathroom but it was very clean and didn't even smell like a bar bathroom. A little graffiti on the wall but that is expected at a bar. All in all, this is a great place, super laid back and so welcoming.“
“Very few restaurants deliver on their advertisements for spicy hot food. This restaurant delivered the spicy heat they advertised on their Serrano Inferno burger. It has big pieces of habanero chunks, and the ghost pepper cheese and salt are oh so good.“
“Lived in Topeka all my life, never been to the Brass Rail. Of course it's the oldest bar in here, so that makes it historic. But the workers there and I'm assuming the owner? Were wonderful. Very attentive to our needs and friendly. You just don't find that anymore“
