Perkins Restaurant & Bakery Reviews
The customer service I received this sunday at Perkin’s was phenomenal. I went out to eat with my mother in law and my infant son. He is at the teething age therefore he is quite cranky. The entire beginning of us getting there and ordering was filled with him crying (which is not fun in a restaurant). Once our meals came, a sweet older lady who is a team lead there, came to our table and offered to hold my crying son so I can eat. She said that I needed it. Not once has this...read full review

Perkins American Food Co. is an old goody that consistently has really good food and decent size portions. The sweets are never disappointing. Service is often fast, friendly, and on spot, with staff offering useful suggestions and even ketchup without asking. The ambiance is updated, and there is no waiting. Specific meals mentioned include Country Fried Steak, Eggs, Hash-browns, Pancakes & Waffle, Turkey Patty, Orange Juices, Heath Cheesecake, corn beef hash, over hard eggs, sour dough bread, chicken fried steak with a great salad and fantastic blue cheese dressing, chicken breast with teriyaki sauce, grilled asparagus, lemon meringue pie, cheesecake, and Meatloaf with exceptional gravy, grilled asparagus, and outstanding mash. The Meatloaf meal was appx 1,000 calories. Portion size is decent for the price, and the rectangular serving plates are liked. Perkins is 10X better than Denny's in every way. It is a pleasant find, especially for those who do not have Perkins in eastern Missouri any longer.
