“I walked into Circle Coffee for the first time ( all bright eyed and not decaffeinated, and I totally forgot to ask for my coffee decaf ( or what my sister calls sad coffee). By the time I realized, they’d already made my coffee and I was walking out the door— but instead of giving me the “well that’s on you” look, they smiled, told me to gift the original to a coworker ( who now thinks I’m the nicest person alive) and made me a fresh decaf for free. Heroes are baristas apparently. The shop itself is a whole vibe — calm, great lighting and welcoming atmosphere—enough ambiance to trick me into thinking I’m the kind of person who journals daily or could write a novel. Also, do NOT sleep on the strawberry goat cheese danish. It’s seriously delicious. I took one bite and considered writing it into my will. Life changing and I’m probably emotionally attached to it now. This place has great vibes, great people, and even better coffee and pastries. Highly recommend.”

“This is hands down the best place in Topeka. Not just because the food is AMAZING but the people that own it are absolutely incredible. My mom and I get takeout every month when she comes to visit and they always recognize our order, are the sweetest most kind people and the food is outstanding. Would recommend Jongs to everyone!”

“Are at the flying monkey tavern at the pennant. Have the chips and queso and a double bacon me crazy burger. Was a really good burger fries were crispy. The chips and queso was excellent as well. The whole menu looked great and was hard to choose what to get for my meal.”

“I graduated from school with LaVale Jackson and have since seen he has succeeded in owning his own restaurant called 7.8.5 Kitchen but had never made it over there to try the food until today...I have been craving some soul food and went today and was very satisfied with it! 5/5 stars ⭐️ for sure! “This evening was my and my husband's first time eating here, we came with three of our friends. I appreciated the sign on the door stating that they were working short and waiting times might be longer. Despite this, we waited no longer for our food than what I consider to be normal on a Saturday night. The food was cooked so well, very good flavors, and presented very nicely. The prices are very fair for the amount you get. The service was warm and not overdone, the perfect amount of checking in and asking if things were going well. We have all decided that we will be craving more and coming back soon!”

“We were staying at a local hotel, and asked for paper plates and napkins. I was told they would send napkins, but there were none. When you do hotel deliveries, PLEASE know that we don’t have plates and napkins! Pizza was very good and the delivery was prompt.”

It felt like an insult to not finish all my food! But like I said, the portion sizes are VERY generous, especially for the price. The servers/hostess are so so kind!
