“I walked into Circle Coffee for the first time ( all bright eyed and not decaffeinated, and I totally forgot to ask for my coffee decaf ( or what my sister calls sad coffee). By the time I realized, they’d already made my coffee and I was walking out the door— but instead of giving me the “well that’s on you” look, they smiled, told me to gift the original to a coworker ( who now thinks I’m the nicest person alive) and made me a fresh decaf for free. Heroes are baristas apparently. The shop itself is a whole vibe — calm, great lighting and welcoming atmosphere—enough ambiance to trick me into thinking I’m the kind of person who journals daily or could write a novel. Also, do NOT sleep on the strawberry goat cheese danish. It’s seriously delicious. I took one bite and considered writing it into my will. Life changing and I’m probably emotionally attached to it now. This place has great vibes, great people, and even better coffee and pastries. Highly recommend.”

My mom and I get takeout every month when she comes to visit and they always recognize our order, are the sweetest most kind people and the food is outstanding. Would recommend Jongs to everyone!”

“This evening was my and my husband's first time eating here, we came with three of our friends. I appreciated the sign on the door stating that they were working short and waiting times might be longer. Despite this, we waited no longer for our food than what I consider to be normal on a Saturday night. The food was cooked so well, very good flavors, and presented very nicely. The prices are very fair for the amount you get. The service was warm and not overdone, the perfect amount of checking in and asking if things were going well. We have all decided that we will be craving more and coming back soon!”

“A TOPEKA CLASSIC! This has been a favorite spot since I was in high school. I love the variety of flavors and topping options. The service is fast and friendly. Plenty of covered outdoor seating, and some limited hours for lobby seating. It feels like a trip back in time getting to order from the back window and sit amongst other families and friends on the patio. My favorite order is a strawberry malt (made with real
Strawberries) with extra malt powder on top.”

“Are at the flying monkey tavern at the pennant. Have the chips and queso and a double bacon me crazy burger. Was a really good burger fries were crispy. The chips and queso was excellent as well. The whole menu looked great and was hard to choose what to get for my meal.”

“I asked the internet for lunch options and it sent me here. Trusting the internet and it brought me a fabulous lunch. It truly does not look like much from the outside. And to be fair, it doesn't look like much on the inside either.

Just after noon on a workday, I think I was the first customer for lunch. The three ladies inside are moms and grandmoms and they were chatting away when I arrived. I ordered the Thursday special and they scattered to prepare it. A few minutes later, a plate of roast pork and roasted cactus arrived with a small salad and three handmade tortillas. I skipped the tortillas but ate ALL the rest of it. This was delicious, handmade with care.

This is a tiny spot that perhaps was a gas station in a previous life. But today, it's a hole in the wall Latin restaurant (Mexican? Guatemalan? I have no idea.) that served up a great lunch!”

“A few weeks ago, we had Ta Co cater our son's wedding. Everything was amazing! The food was delicious! They came in and set-up as we requested buffet style, an abundance of fresh and delicious food! The guests kept telling us how much they loved the food! And Andy is great to work with, we will continue to support this place.”
