I love that this restaurant is owned by a local family. Totally unique in the atmosphere and the location. You will find this quaint restaurant in an old neighborhood, the building is gorgeous. We were back in Topeka for the holiday and had the opportunity to finally try Cafe Holliday. What a treat! The blueberry pancakes are some of the most unique and delectable I've ever had. It's a like they are a hybrid scone and pancake. This place is truly a gem!
This place is sorta' hidden, like a bountiful brook. The menu has many modern offerings but I was here for the Mexican stuff. I mean business! Chips, salsa, spicy chicken dish(s) and no jibber jabber! The waiter informed me that the lunch special ($1.00 off) was fried tacos.
