Coming from Europe and Seattle I do not expect the same quality of coffee or food but I do expect decent customer service. This place reflects the subpar service Topeka Kansas is known for…. the waitress who comes off as a worldly know it all. Atmosphere: dueling banjos would fit the decor!

I love the place. It’s such a vibe. However, I can’t get over how little effort goes into making coffee in the morning. The staff, for the most part, is great. The girls in the morning are awesome, but their coffee making skills are beyond subpar.
One heavyset blondish girl corrected me and looked at me like I was a peasant standing before royalty, just because I asked for a coffee outside the order she prefers. She clearly wanted to make a point and insert herself. Almost every time I go in, she is sitting down with a sour look on her face.
This morning the coffee was so terrible. There is no consistency in anything they serve.

I went the other day to the Downtown location. I got an iced mocha latte and I didn't try it in store. When I did try it, it was awful, some of the worst coffee I've ever had. I had to dump it out I couldn't even drink it. It had a very weird after taste almost like fermented mint... It didn't taste like they had added any flavoring to it. So I called them the next day and went back and they remade it for me. The taste was improved but there was still a weird aftertaste that I've never tasted in coffee before. I managed to drink it but it wasn't good at all. I definitely prefer my own coffee I can make at home.

The food is always good and they have a nice selection of both breakfast foods and sandwiches. The staff is always friendly.

They use the watered down/weak Chai but add additional spices which adds some flavor but to those of us that are Chai lovers, we know the difference. It's better than 7Brew which is the only reason I'm giving it 2 star, but please get real Chai. I also tried out one of their breakfast sandwiches which is already overpriced to begin with and it was nasty. It was over salted, the egg tasted off. Absolutely gross. The food is a 1-star.

Thoroughly enjoyed my pastrami on rye, as well as my Italian Soda. Nice place for a casual business lunch or a catch-up with a friend. Staff was friendly and attentive!
It's a nice place to sit, relax, maybe get some work done on a laptop, or a nice meet & greet location. Parking is a bit of a challenge, the reason why it took me so long to stop in. The coffee, although freshly ground beans, could still use a bit more of a touch! No flavored coffees and no flavored creams to add! They only have the gut wrenching flavored syrup to offer!!! YUK!
I had not tried any sandwiches yet, but the few times I've stopped in I had not noticed anyone else ordering a sandwich either... I would say that maybe it was too early, but they sell breakfast sandwiches too! Smh...well...
Parking: Free street parking spaces in front, if you're lucky to get one! Most don't move anytime soon once they get one!

Loved the Coffee and food. Our only human interaction was with a young woman, probably about 16 years of age, very unprofessional. Cursed Inferno of me and my wife. Glared at us when there was a miscommunication on weather our food was to go or not. Really ruined the experience. Good food and coffee though. That made up for the childish behavior we dealt with ordering our food.
