This review takes place on November 30th 2025 around 3:25pm, Our experience at this Fat Shack location was disappointing enough that we wont be returning, even though the food itself was good. My boyfriend, his mom, and I were on the road for a few hours and decided to stop here for the first time, the restaurant looked inviting and we were excited to try it. We were polite, followed basic etiquette, and even cleaned up after ourselves, as we always do to respect the staff and show them that we care about there time. We each ordered a sandwich, and my boyfriend got some cheese fries…. when he noticed that the fries didnt already come with bacon (which is common at many other places but no big deal) he politely asked if he could have a side of bacon there was no arguing, no rudeness, just a simple reasonable request. After finishing our meal I went to the restroom before we left because we had a couple more hours left on the road and I overheard our order taker talking to her coworker about our order, she seemed frustrated about the extra bacon, saying things like, “Oh a little late for that” and “You know its been a bad day when…” while cussing and making it sound like our request was a huge problem. This was especially surprising because this isn’t even fast food there’s no rush, no huge line of customers waiting, we were like the only ones in the restaurant so there was no reason to react this way over a small, polite request, I understand working in food service can be stressful, because I work in food service and know customers can be a bit irritating at times but even in fast food, Ive NEVER spoken negatively about a customer to a coworker even if there in the wrong. For a place like this, it felt completely unnecessary. We were first time visitors, excited to try the food, and unaware that asking for a small addition like extra bacon would be met with this reaction but the food itself was tasty, but the staffs behavior left a negative impression and we will not be returning.
(Edit: the bathrooms say there supposed to be clean but the woman’s bathroom was most definitely not clean and my boyfriend also stated he seen some suspicious hairs in the sink.)

Absolutely phenomenal experience! Every dish was bursting with fresh flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was fast and friendly and our food came out in no time! We ordered the Munchies Platter and sampled the wings, burgers, and the Fat Maverick; each one was incredibly delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back with my family. Highly recommend to anyone who loves amazing food and great vibes!

Stopped in tonight for a quick dinner. The staff was friendly, especially the lady with the piercings who took our order! Food was great. I got the Fat Maverick and my husband got the Fat Bronco. We will definitely be coming back!

customer service needs work, my guy was sounding like he didn't care about anything, maybe because it was 10pm but still, just a lil more respect could be nice, and i'm not even the type of guy to ever leave a review. the food was amazing, best fat shack i've ever had to be honest, compared to the ones on the front range in colorado
