So, it was my bachelorette party and I love this place, so I thought, so we went there and the lady was great she took our orders and was running everywhere but the was a guy there who was just walking around very slowly doing nothing!! This was October 19th, 2024, at around 930 pm!

I order through fat shack quite frequently. I loooove their wings but they have now forgotten my ranch for the third time, so I called to give them my feedback. The lady on the phone when I first called was extremely unapologetic and didn’t have what it to to make it roght. Hung up on me.
So I called back
Then “the manager” answered which sounded a lot like the girl that hung up on me. I then wanted my refund as I was not okay with how I was spoke to. This manager Sam told me she wasn’t able to do a refund because she wasn’t taught.
Sam told me to call back up around 5pm to get my matter resolved.

I heard good things about Fat Shack so we tried it for the eclectic bar food style they had. No kids menu was available online so I ordered chicken strips and Mac and cheese bites. Was shocked at the price of more than $8.00 each, so I assumed they would be appetizer size portions at a restaurant. Then I got 2 half sandwiches which were $9.00 each. My meal after tax was $39. Picked up took home and found that the sandwiches were 4” long and smaller than a typical hoagie roll. The food was clearly store bought frozen snacks that they cook and overprice. Nothing was great or even good. I will never return or recommend it to anyone. You would think Being set up blocks from the college, that prices would be reasonable at least. I can easily go anywhere else in Topeka for the same price, and get double the food. I tried making a corporate complaint but that information is conveniently not available online.
Great place for some unique burgers and sandwiches. Have all the fixings like fries, onion rings, poppers, shakes. Definitely look the menu before hand, you will leave with your stomach full.
Not a great experience, the food was okay not what I expected, have heard great things about the place and it was so disappointing. Came from Kansas and wanted to get good food, don’t waste your money it’s expensive and not worth it.
