The beer here is malty and delicious - we really enjoyed trying a flight and a pint. This place is absolutely worth a visit, especially if you like malty beers.

$10 cover charge. No thanks. Our group saw this and immediately left and you missed out on a whole night of revenue.
Went down the road to a different brew pub that didn't have a cover charge.

Good Beer. Food/snacks are expensive. The bartenders dog was annoying and kept barking at all other patrons and their dogs. The bartender only kept yelling at it which did not help. This made other patrons with their dogs very uncomfortable. Other than that, nice atmosphere and good beer if it was not for the dog. Probably will skip this brewery in future.

I had visited Happy Basset a year ago and fell in love with the Freckle Trippel. Amazing beer. This year I was passing through Topeka again in my RV. I popped by on a Monday and met Jessie, she was serving that amazing beer and welcomed me with great conversation. Of course I met a superbly fine guy named Justin who too was a welcoming soul. They both invited me back for wing night on Wednesday. So I went back for amazing wings. But the true great thing about Happy Basset is of course Freckle Trippel, the warm hospitality of Jessie. It’s great when a business treats their employees so well that they exude care and hospitality. Thank you Jessie and Happy Basset for a remarkable pass through experience. Can’t wait to come back through.

Nice local beers, a small amount of local wines and seasonal mixed drinks. We go here for team trivia on Mondays
Beer very good - service terrible. Only one staff on Saturday afternoon, dirty glasses covered the bar. Atmosphere nothing special- just a strip mall.
