Delicious beers. Doggie folks. What else do you need?

Stopped by while staying overnight while driving. Warehouse in the middle of nowhere with great draft beer, relaxed atmosphere and very friendly people. Our dog loved playing in the dog park and being loved on by all passersby's. Great place to play cornhole, have a beer and relax with your dog buddy.

Visited the location at 49th street, a bit off the beaten path. An eclectic building housing what feels like a randomly fun/cool event space along with a medium sized bar. There's a stage for live music and an outdoor patio/dog space. It sounds crazy but it's charming. The staff were astoundingly friendly and seemed happy to be there. Patrons varied from families to couples that brought their dogs to hang outside in the dog area. As to the food, BBQ was served by a couple and it was very good. Very nice owner/staff, definitely try the ends and the spicy sauce. Great price, far and away the best BBQ in Topeka. Finally, there must have had 20 beers on tap. Not sure how they swing that in a smaller town, but everything I tried on tap was fresh. Many good options, the three I had varied from great to good. I had to take a growler home in the end, so I think that says something. Will be happy to visit again.

Had a very nicely balanced cocktail menu! Beer selection was quite seasonal, but had a few reds and browns as a repreave. No full kitchen, but had some salty snack foods. And they are "Good Citizen" pet friendly:)

Happy Basset Brewing is one of the best dog friendly breweries I have ever been too. Besides the outdoor fenced in dog area which encloses the outside patio deck and a fireplace but don't forget about the corn hole game. The Owner and staff are extremely helpful and friendly too. Make sure to save some appetite for Tim Miller's "Beyond Q" BBQ and other food samplings too. Everything was delicious, efficient, and "Happy"! Enjoy...

Let me preface by saying I only ever have written one review in my life and feel compelled to share how AWESOME this place is. We stopped here for an overnight in our van through harvest host. I am from the south where hospitality is a religion but Happy Basset Brewing put the south to shame. Upon entering the brewery, we asked if we could bring our pups in from the van and they were greeted with a receiving line of treats and pets from staff and patrons alike. Tim, the pit master, offered to let us sample some of his BBQ creations and brought us some samples to try. SUPER friendly dude. Jake, the owner, introduced himself and even asked the live rock band to turn the music audio down for our pups ears. I was shocked when the band introduced themselves and said “we’re gonna turn the volume down in here for some sweet pup eardrums.” This is place is an absolute gem with GREAT BBQ AND GREAT BEER. Made us feel like we were handing out with old friends. I need more stars because 5 stars isn’t enough.

Great brewery make a nice variety light and heavy beer. They need to work on sound dampening between 7 people and music (which was at a minimum volume) its loud for me in one word uncomfortable

Here for the evening in Topeka and had to stop by a brewery with a dog mascot! I came to the 29th location because it was closest to my hotel. Honestly the bartender was super sweet, I sat at the bar alone, and the beer was very good for an IPA. I especially love $5 pints! I only gave it 4 stars because it was a little underwhelming. Maybe the other location is where most of the amazing reviews are from??

The Slow Rise Saison and Citra Pale Ale are excellent. This place is comfortable and offers plenty of free samples to help you hone in on the cure for what ales you. Ha! Great staff and beer!
