Always stop in whenever I'm in Topeka. The people are nice, the food is good and of course the museum(s)/dealership/clothes/etc are great too. This is a "get it while we got it cuz when it's gone, it's gone" kind of place. The ribs are always tender and just fall right off the bone and I can never say no to the cheesytaters.

You will not be disappointed once you figure out how to get to the restaurant. A low key place in the Harley Davidson store/museum/repair place? LolFor a reasonable price you get generous helpings of great food. On our way in the door every person we spoke with said to try the cheesy potatoes! They didn't disappoint! An unexpected winner is the cole slaw. Not super creamy with a great vinegar tang and still crunchy. A must try even if you sorta like coleslaw. Only open during lunch, the business was steady but still a limited menu ensures you the wait is short. Seating was plentiful for a group or just two. The staff was friendly and helpful. I can see going back. Grateful that I was so into the food on my plate I only snapped one picture!I understand there is breakfast on Saturday morning. I think I will try that as well.

Omg! Found my idol the Crazy Plant Lady. Great service, wonderful food and great prices. You get the flavor, service and more than fair amount of food for your money. This is a winner with a mini celebrity in my book with plants. Total score for me. I highly recommend this sleeper. It is with the Evil K museum.

I ordered the brisket sandwich with beans. The meat was smokey, but not as tender as I would prefer. The beans were smokey, rich, and savory, but I thought the sausage took away rather than added to the beans overall flavor profile.Overall, the BBQ was smokey and sweet, which was great. I would have preferred the meat to be a little more tender and melt in my mouth. I will be visiting again.

Pulled pork was good. The hot BBQ sauce was amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to come back and get a bottle

Brisket was overcooked and pulled like pork. Tasted and smelled like the ground beef jerky you get in a chew can. Sides were good, sausage was OK.

I drove the hour from KC for the Evel Knievel museum and this place was inside. Amazingly moist pulled pork and awesome beans. I think I could handle the hour drive from KC just for the BBQ.
