If I could give 0 I would! First let me say that the people in there aren't friendly at all, no one greets you with a smile at all! Second we bought a whole beef bundle, that's 300 worth of meat, got home and the sirloin steaks are rotten, doesn't even look like we got 300 worth of meat! I don't know who has taken over this place but do better!! I will never go back! Bad business all around!

Out of all the meat shops and places t get meat this is by far the best and most respectful place to get it even if they mess up they always fix it thanks for the service guys . #loyalcustomer

I highly suggest not shopping here. Never in my life have I gone to a store and gotten berated, called profanities and treated like garbage by a general manager. Then when I asked to see the owner, who was there, I was refused access to the owner. Then when I finally spoke to the owner, he supported the managers blatant disrespect. Do not shop here and definitely don't apply for a job here. If you work here, you will be taken advantage of and be treated like trash when you quit you will be refused service and called all manner of things by management and they will refuse to provide you service. This business will fail under the ineptitude of their general manager. It's not the Hermans that it once was. You can't even eat at the restaurant without getting sick. Good luck going to this place.

I gave it one star. I ordered meat by the pound for family dinner I got brisket pulled pork and burned ends. All the meat was tough and very dry noone ate more that a few bits of meat it was that bad.i guess a sign of the times a really good place going down the drain.

Meat cutter was rude with an attitude. When you ask for steaks they should be consistent in size, not an inch on one end and a quarter inch on the other. Without consistency cooking is more difficult. Manager was in the area and was trying to pretend he couldn’t hear what was going on. Last steaks we will buy from Herman’s. Have never had this kind of service.

Giving three stars for my visit today (12/1). 1 star because the pulled pork and green beans were cooked well and had good texture. 2 stars for the staff (particularly the gentleman working the register right by the front door and the blonde haired female who took my order, both were super nice!). But... I'm deducting two stars because the pork was SO salty and the green beans were SO NOT salty. I mixed them together after a while and the salt was more balanced, but really need to work on seasonings. I really don't know how they ended up with that much salt on the pork, crazy. And it seems like they didn't even put any salt in the green beans.

Let me just start off by saying I really used to enjoy Herman’s bbq I worked there during my college days there WAS pride in serving great quality food and in a timely fashion. today I visited called ahead prior to going on my lunch break , to arrive employees just looking around moving slowly sitting twiddling their thumbs and just not being productive or any rush to get customers serviced no respect for others time… still waited about 15-20 mins for them to prepare my food , simple order 2 house salads with ham and turkey and the chop meat sandwich special ….. meats for the salad DRY could tell it was cooked days prior and just reheated or sat in a warmer I shouldn’t be choking on chewed food , chopped meat on my sandwich was cold of course I didn’t find this out until I got back to work and had 5 mins left out of my 30 min lunch to eat don’t bother wasting hard earned money here

11/16/23 @ 1:30- Turkey was good, fries alright, brisket was trash and left it on the plate. Overcooked, dry, burnt, roast beef jerky. I’ve been to bbq joints all over the country and this was by far the worst I’ve ever been served. Took a picture of it to post and send to management.
