Wasn’t sure the name of the hamburger so we asked for the one with guacamole they brought us something. She called the western. It didn’t even look or taste like hamburger. It looked like meatloaf on Texas toast that was greasy didn’t taste good at all very unhappy with it we’ve been there several times this is first time I’ve had really crappy food

My waitress Miss Nora(tip her for her beauty n/fast service) did not delay asking what to order, if food was great, and if I needing more at this T town Hoots.
Food was timely, bar beverages still good, quality of all and a clean restaurant w/comfortable tunes (late60’s-90’s) made this one of thousands of visits, enjoyable.
So much beauty here, I refuse to leave….

Very poor service during a slow times.Misrepresentation about prices ($3 Pints; 3pm-6pm). Told that was only for domestic beers. Nowhere does the advertisement around the place show that. The server didn’t seem competent in doing her job. Prompted a member of my party about getting a sauce, but didn’t mention an additional charge for the sauce. Told another member of my party that the wings didn’t come with a side. Found out from reading a hidden, small, inconspicuous menu that the member could have had fries and the meal could’ve been cheaper. Finally, the server didn’t even clear some of the dishes so we could easily fill out the checks to pay.

Have been waiting over an hour to get our bills. I understand we had a big group but a call was made to see if they could handle it and obviously they could not. Food sat on the counter for awhile. Bathrooms were disgusting, they have not been cleaned for awhile, no toilet paper in at least 1 stall. I would not recommend.

Tried to go in and get food at 7:30 but the doors were locked because the employees wanted to go home early.

Completely honest downhill. I always stop in here when in Topeka. It seems management doesn't even care enough for up keep. The food was absolutely terrible, Luke warm at best. Wasn't very busy but even still the service wasn't very good. The waitress never played terrible as a kid and couldnt figure out how to move 2 tables together to fit 7 people. All but one exterior sign had letter(s) missing from the logo. Will not return.

Used to be a great place back in the day when they worked along with Club O. Now it's Terrrrrrrible. I knew I stopped coming here for a reason. Stopped in today. It was a ghost town. Juke box is gone. Girls said they were bored to death. Food was cold. I don't even know how that's possible since I was the only customer in the building.

TQ

Tried the Hooters in Topeka, Kansas (right across from the Comfort Suites) 🍻🏨

It’s surrounded by a bunch of hotels, so I expected it to be packed especially with the playoffs on. But when I walked in around 3:00 PM (right before the first playoff game kicked off), it was surprisingly empty. Maybe four customers total. 😅

First things first, the beer was cold ✅🍺 and the service was honestly outstanding. The hostess was Amaree, and she was super cute and friendly, and I forgot how welcomed the Hooters girls make you feel. Say what you want, but the vibe is still very much “Hooters is gonna Hooters.” 😄🦉

I ordered the chili cheese fries. They were decent while I was eating them, but later that night my stomach filed a complaint and escalated it to management. 🌶️🧀🚨 Because of that, I wouldn’t recommend the chili cheese fries.

I also tried a Hurricane because I guess I was missing home while being on the road for work 🍹🏝️. The server didn’t sound super confident making it, but I’m a rum lover and she actually did a pretty solid job. Respect. 💪🥃

My friend got the wings (I think mild) and he tore them up. Plate was spotless, so that tells you everything. 🍗😋

They had basketball on when we first sat down, which makes sense because Kansas feels like a basketball town 🏀. Since the Kansas City Chiefs didn’t make the playoffs, maybe the crowd wasn’t stressed about football. I asked them to switch one of the TVs to the game and they did it with no problem. 📺🏈

Overall rating: 3.5 out of 5 ⭐⭐⭐✨
Best parts: friendly service, cold beer, and the classic Hooters experience.
What held it back: those chili cheese fries trying to end my road trip early. 😭🚗
