Amazing pork and brisket. They had just run out of the famous cheesy potatoes which we really wanted to try and the owner was there and felt bad and really took care of us. Hats off to him for trying so hard for his customers. People should for sure support his business and try the great bbq

Stopped on our way to Colorado. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything thing was excellent! I had the smoked turkey and my friend's had the pulled pork. All tasted fresh. The sides were equally delicious. My favorite was the cheesey potatoes. Definitely worth the stop.

The food is awesome, even if the menu is limited. We've only gone in the evening and the line is started before they even opened, so I would say be prepared to wait, but it is definitely worth the wait.
They have large portions and we go nights for the ribs, but their brisket and pulled pork is awesome too. We didn't care for their sauce, but we've only done to go so we just used our preferred stuff at home and it wasn't a big deal.
Would definitely recommend trying and coming early before they run out. ?

Found this just by Googling "Top BBQ in Topeka". They were at the top. Drove over from our hotel on the other side of town. It did not disappoint! Although they ran out of chessy taters their meats were next level with the owner making sure we got taken care of with top notch customer service. 5 stars, must try!

If you like really good bbq look no further. Very simple menu and everything is delicious. I got the QBowl with 3 meats, cheesy potatoes and baked beans. Amazing. The smoked turkey blew me away. The hours are limited so check their hours and get there before they run out!

Lonnie himself was there cooking Friday. Great food, friendly, helpful employees and even though they ran out of the Ribs I wanted, I then ordered a sandwich. I was surprised when Lonnie brought a couple of ribs to my table. The customer feels valued at Lonnies.

What a delight! The employees were friendly and welcoming from the second we walked in the door. We were offered a taste to decide, which we didn't take them up on. Instead, we jumped right in. Every item from the meats to the sides was nothing short of delicious!
Portions are generous - you won't be leaving hungry.
I also appreciate a clean bathroom. Theirs was tidy. An often overlooked item that they get right.
Kid-friendliness: There isn't a kid's menu and portions are quite large. A smaller plate option would be great.
