OK, so this place has a lot going for it. I am giving it four out of five on food, only because it wasn’t spot on, but I will certainly go back. The machetes were quite good, and clearly made fresh. That is very uncommon and quite unique amongst US Mexican restaurants. I would have liked to see more variety, like mushrooms, cheese, squash flower, and huitlacoche, but what they had was good. The Carnitas were better than the Carne al Pastor, but it was all good. Looking forward to trying more of this place’s menu.

Came here trying to find our New Mexican restaurant and Los Mandiles did not disappoint! I got the Mole and it was amazing and my partner had the Birria tacos, we left satisfied and with leftovers! Portions are exceptional for the price! I will definitely be back, service is wonderful as well they really care about their guests and food comes out in a timely manner! If you enjoy authenticity, this is your place to come!

Carlos catered my wedding on Saturday and it was phenomenal. All of our guests loved the food, and our venue was so impressed with the service. I would recommend their event catering to anyone!

I don't generally leave reviews, but I have to give a big shout out to Carlos and Los Mandiles Rojos. They catered my daughter's wedding this weekend and did an awesome job. Carlos is great to work with, was very responsive, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. I had many guests comment on how good the food was and even the person in charge of the venue asked for the name of the restaurant so he could recommend them. Highly recommend for any event!

Not my flavor profile but I won't hold that against them its way more authentic than what we have in Michigan. Homestyle cooking. Servings are very generous. Menu is in Spanish and just below that you'll find the English translation. Never been to a Mexican restaurant with a buffet! Wish I would have tried it. Loved the little toastitos they serve in place of chips and salsa. If we had more time in Kansas, I'd try it again.

The food here is different from any Mexican restaurant I've been to and very delicious. I'm always happy with the food. The servers are very friendly.

I recently visited a fantastic Mexican restaurant and was blown away by the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and the smell of delicious spices wafting through the air. The menu offered a variety of authentic Mexican dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. For my main course, I tried the pozole blanco. The flavors were out of this world and every bite was better than the last. The service was top-notch, with the staff being friendly and attentive throughout my meal. They made sure my drink was always full and that I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. The decor was also noteworthy, with vibrant colors and traditional Mexican artwork adding to the already lively atmosphere. I left feeling full, satisfied, and already planning my next visit to this amazing Mexican restaurant.Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Mexican cuisine. The quality of the food, service, and atmosphere are unparalleled and make for an unforgettable dining experience

The food was pretty good however, the waitress decided to help herself to an additional tip. I'm guessing the tip that she got she felt wasn't enough for her bare minimal waitress skills and decided to double her tip after we had left. Good food is not worth having someone steal from you. Will I be returning? Absolutely not! To many other good Mexican restaurants in Topeka that does not steal from the patrons.

Parking: Parking has much to be desired.

So I enjoyed the atmosphere in this place. It has good music which isn't playing too loud. There are ALOT of TVs and would suggest this location if you are trying to watch a game. Service was kinda slow but customer service was nice. Now for the food. We ordered the Tacobirria, huaraches, and the seafood soup. The Tacobirria was ok...not too spicy and the sauce that came with it wasn't spicy (I was kinda hopong it was) the beef broth could be a bit stronger in taste and thickness, less water. The huaraches does not look anything like the picture in the menu so that was kinda sad to see and the seafood soup was delicious except....WHO puts queso in seafood soup? Also the green olives ?. Both threw everything off...just gross and weird. Oh at the end of the meal I went for it desert, sundae conchitas again great presentation and (I almost forgot to take a picture) it was good ??. Anyway...maybe there are other dishes that they offer that are better than what we ordered. They have a lot to choose from on their menu and presentation looks good except for the huaraches.Would I come back here again being that I live 54min from here? Probably not. Some other places in this area with a lower rating might be better to try. The choice is yours.

This is not the typical Mexican restaurant you can find across the region, this is an authentic Mexican food from Mexico City, flavor and texture are delicious ?, and besides service is so good... highly recommended.

If I could leave no stars, I would. Worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to in my life and I love Mexican food! Only Mexican restaurant I've ever been to that didn't have chips and salsa. In fact, they had no red salsa at all, only a green sauce. A cook said it was green chile but the waitress said creamy guacamole sauce. Only queso had chorizo and I can't eat that. Also, they only have soft shell tacos. No hard shells at all. The service was absolutely terrible. 20 minute wait to get drinks. Another 20+ minutes to see the waitress again to even order. Food was bland to top it off. Overall terrible experience. Won't be returning.

I grew up in San Diego (some familiarity with Mexican food) but this place had things on the menu I had never seen before. I had a Machete, with pork and beef - a corn /masa creation that I couldn't even attempt to finish. Wow. Amazing. Staff were kind and helpful. Margarita was great. Highly recommended if you are craving Mexican in Topeka.

I got the Chilaquiles Con Carne with shrimp and added rice, I never had this in my life and can't find it at any other Mexican restaurant but granted most Mexican restaurants in Topeka are Tex Mex so if you want authentic Mexican food come here. Sorry about the picture I was in the middle of eating it also not sorry. We had an appetizer of Queso Fundidos which was fantastic!! Everything is homemade and that's what we were hungry! Never been here before but will be coming again and again for now on!!
