I was visiting Holton and Google maps popped up with a recommendation. So I dropped by Mad Eliza's and I was not disappointed! The service was excellent and I ended up with a blueberry muffin it was excellent but the display case is filled with cakes and macaroons and doughnuts. From appearances I don't think you can make a wrong choice. They so not serve espresso drinks but they do have wonderful drip coffee I believe by blue jazz roasters.Very nice place to sit and enjoy your baked goods and coffee! They also have a fun mix of unusual to find classic sodas in the bottle.
This place ROCKS!!! Love ALL the baked goods and the assortment of pops!! Banana Bread and Twist donuts… OMG!!! The owners, Peggy… Mark… and Simon are awesome!!!!
Whenever I go in there the husband and the son are always sweet and courteous. But the owner always acts so rude and put out when customers come in. It’s hard to support small businesses when they act mad when customers are ordering. This isn’t a one time thing, this is every time.
We decided to drive around the town courthouse square and saw the bakery was open. We went in and bought 3 different muffins: a orange/cranberry, mocha, and blueberry. They were the most delicious tasting I've ever had, and had wonderful texture. 6 stars out of 5.
Best pickle lemonade around and their treats are amazing... It's a weekly spot to stop
Amazing service and fun selection
There are so many great options! It's hard to pick just one or two things when I want to purchase one of everything! Their bread puddings are literally the best and the tiramisu is flawless. The raspberry chocolate chip cheesecake cones are seriously good.
Amazing service and fun selection
Nice location, friendly owners, surprisingly diverse selection of sweet treats. Will definitely stop by again.
Cute little bakery. Nummy treats & great brewed coffee.

wonderful treats, great fresh brewed coffee, and such friendly staff!
My husband loved the cinnamon roll. It reminded him of his mom’s cinnamon roll?. Personally, I enjoyed the cinnamon blueberry scone. It was one of the best I’ve had! It wasn’t dry. The young man who waited on us was very courteous and friendly. Such a great find we plan on stopping on our way of town tomorrow!
Had the lemon bars and they were out of this world!! Best lemon bars I've had in a LONG time! Mark and his family are also very kind and welcoming!
The customer service is awesome! A family owned business! Try one of everything!
I am so glad that I finally came to this bakery when passing by around Valentine’s Day! I follow the bakery on social media, and I’ve always wanted to stop in. Topeka location closed, but this location is open and so cute! The owner was very nice and accommodating for a large order over the phone, and everything was delicious. Loved the gold chocolate dipped strawberries & the heart sugar cookies the most! Two person cheesecake was also excellent. Thank you Peggy for all of your help!
