I was visiting Holton and Google maps popped up with a recommendation. So I dropped by Mad Eliza's and I was not disappointed!The service was excellent and I ended up with a blueberry muffin it was excellent but the display case is filled with cakes and macaroons and doughnuts. From appearances I don't think you can make a wrong choice.They so not serve espresso drinks but they do have wonderful drip coffee I believe by blue jazz roasters.Very nice place to sit and enjoy...
We decided to drive around the town courthouse square and saw the bakery was open. We went in and bought 3 different muffins: a orange/cranberry, mocha, and blueberry. They were the most delicious tasting I've ever had, and had wonderful texture. 6 stars out of 5.
There are so many great options! It's hard to pick just one or two things when I want to purchase one of everything! Their bread puddings are literally the best and the tiramisu is flawless. The raspberry chocolate chip cheesecake cones are seriously good.
