I did a call in order. I ordered seven tacos on Tuesday which they were supposed to be a dollar each whether they are hard or soft. Even there sign outside said $1.00 Hard shell and Soft Tacos! When I arrived I was surprised to see only 4 cars and they only a handful of people at inside at 5:45.
I found out why.... They tried to charge me a $1.50 per Taco! When I asked why the Tacos were $1.50 she told me the .50 cents was tax!
BS!! Tax is 9.5% not 50%!
I called her out on it and even pointed out the sign. Won't be back! You can't have a sign saying one thing and then charge another! No wonder your business is dying. If You're going to charge $1.50 a taco just put it on your sign $1.50 Tacos! So I went down the street to Taco Tico and got $1 tacos and they did not disappoint!
Craptastic Experience!

Yum. Great lunch and daily specials and delicious margaritas!

Good place, small, a/c isn’t the best but the cold drinks help 😁😉

My husband took me here when I first moved to Topeka and we left with a good experience. That was 5 years ago and we continue to go! The fajitas are the bomb as well as the margaritas. I enjoy the Fajitas Hawaiian and the shrimp tacos the most.

Yeah it was good, my group went around 11:30 on a Friday the week after school at Washburn got out so it wasn’t really busy and we got seated right away. This is such a fun place and I would love to go if it was packed!

The food is always delicious, the service is very friendly and very good.
The atmosphere is not perfect, but it is made-up for by the marguritas.

Whoa Nelly. Some of the BEST Mexican I have had, and I’ve had a lot. Love the tortillas here and how authentic the dishes are. Too bad I live an hour away or else I’d be here daily. You have to stop by and get some tacos, I got the el pastor and it didn’t not disappoint. The queso is also FIRE. Not thick and it comes with a little smack to the face of heat.

Takes a long time but food is worth it. Staff often takes a very long time to check on customers.

Cozy, inviting atmosphere with an enclosed patio space for those crisp fall evenings. The food is plentiful, fresh, hot, and well-seasoned. The staff is genuinely friendly, while their table service is impeccable. Best part for me is their location in historic College Hill (Topeka, KS)

I was a first time customer that day. I was impressed enough to become a regular?

Wheelchair accessibility: This building utilizes a sloped walkway at the front entrance that everyone uses to access the main dining area. The covered patio gives way to an uncovered portion that winds its way out to a sizable, free and miraculously shaded parking lot. I'm not sure if a wheeled chair would pass easily through the gate into the patio area but I feel absolutely certain if an issue presented itself, a staff member would attempt to remedy it.

This place is awful. Boards are dangerously loose on walkway to enter the building. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the staff could care less they had customers despite being dead. Our waitress didn’t offer refills or even bring out napkins/silverware. We had to grab menus and seat ourselves. The food and margaritas were a huge disappointment. Save yourself from an irritating outing and go to Jorge’s instead.
