Used to be good. Restaurant has really gone down hill, not sure what is going on. Restaurant is dirty and food is bland. Ordered guacamole Mexicano, when it was brought out the plate had one sliced Avocado covered in onion and tomato not mixed together - so technically not guacamole, fried jalapenos where on top of the mess. Very disappointing. Here's onion of the onions on the plate that no one could bother to dice up I guess. Won't be back.

The food is pretty good, but be prepared to spend 30 minutes being ignored by literally everyone when you go to pay or pick up a carryout order. Combined with the recent price increases kinda makes it hard to keep coming here instead of other places.

I was visiting Topeka and when I got back to the hotel, I decided to order from this establishment. It is not even 2 miles away from the hotel. However, when it arrived, the food was super cold and it had just gotten picked up. On top of that, the nachos had little to no queso r, and the queso I ordered separately was also very cold, so I could not use that on the nachos. I highly recommend avoiding this establishment and finding an authentic Mexican restaurant.

The waitress was the only good thing. Love Mexican food so I Came out for my first time here and it sucked.They brought chips and salsa that we didn’t ask for, as is complimentary in every Mexican restaurant I’ve dined in. Then charged us for them and justified it by saying, “Oh that’s automatic. It’s written in the menu. If we don’t then people just come and eat chips and salsa then leave.” ….who reads a menu in its entirety when they eat out. I shouldn’t have to dissect an entire menu to find out I’m gonna get charged for something I didn’t ask for. Why bring them without being asked….. just don’t bring anything to the table until one orders it and you wouldn’t have to worry about any of that. Menus and table were filthy. Pages sticking together. Food was cold. Would not recommend. Ranchitos is worlds better.

This “was”our favorite Mexican restaurant. We were going once a week for several months. But they have one waitress that is terrible. She is not friendly but that is not the worst thing. She won’t wait on some tables. It’s crazy!! We saw it happen twice before she did it to us. The first time a couple came in and sat in the booth next to us. She waited on other people that came in after them. As she passed by the couple, the lady asked her that they would like to order. The waitress stopped for a second and then walked off and never went back. The couple left very angry. The next time a couple came in and right after that a large group came in. She never waited on the couple just the big group so the couple left. The last time when she did it to us she took our order and never came back to the table. She had the chip girl bring us the bill. I talked to the manager and he said he would talk to her. Since the Pandemic my husband has been leaving a 20% tip for good service so it’s not that. She did wait on us a couple times when she gave us poor service and the tip was less.
Great food. I had the chiliquiles. Full of flavor!

Used to be so good when they first opened. Quality has totally shifted completely. Looks run down, not clean or cared for well. My food was cold, rice was bland and my taco shell tasted completely stale. Sad.
