AMAZING FOOD! Portions for the price were beyond! Loved the gumbo. With every bite brought another level of flavor and meat! There was chicken, sausage, shrimp, crab and even crayfish! So amazing at an affordable price. Put Nannys on your list of new places to try. You will be grateful you did.

While low on atmosphere, the taste is out of this world. I'm a southern boy who appreciates Nanny's way of cooking. I highly recommend the fried catfish for beginners. The collard greens are perfect. Makes me miss grandma it's so good

Stop here anytime I go through Topeka and they are open. Never had anything bad and if you are a pork and beans fan these are the best I have had in years.
We got catfish and shrimp, with a side of beans and rice. The cashier kindly let us know it would take 12 minutes and would be fresh and made to order. The catfish was great! Crispy and juicy. The shrimp was good too, just a bit overcooked, or at least the batter was dark. The actual meat of the shrimp was about right. The beans and rice were pleasantly fragrant, but unfortunately didn't quite have the flavor. Overall we liked the food and would come back again!
