Ok people, if you are near Topeka for lunch, you gotta try this place. It is by far the best BBQ I have found in the area. The hot link sandwich’s and catfish dinners will have you coming back again.

This place made my heart so happy after a long and rough week! True soul/comfort food. Ordered the catfish special and the catfish was so tender with a perfectly crunchy coating. The hush puppies and sidewinder fries were divine. I am a big foodie, but it's not too often that I can say that every bit of the meal was so superb and delicious. I will be back to try your BBQ soon. The lady taking orders was working so hard and had such a great attitude, awesome service. Thanks Nauling's!

Vegetarian options: The greens aren’t made with meat . We had some fantastic catfish, greens, hush puppies and potatoes as the catfish platter which was delicious. Perfectly prepared and so absolutely authentic southern soul food. And it was more than enough for my husband and I to share. Haven’t found such great food since we were stationed in the south. Will be going back regularly for our soul food fix.

This is the second time that I have been to this place. The atmosphere is okay. Customer service is great. Only problem I had. This time was the ribs was a little bit tuf the macaroni and cheese taste of day old like it was very not up to par. The hot links was very cold.That's only two problems I had. I rate them a 4.9 I really wish the macaroni was good but it wasn't. I liked macaroni and cheese and that was the worst macaroni and cheese ever had.

We were in downtown Topeka around lunch time and decided to try Nauling’s. A very nice and personable lady greeted us and since we were new, she took time to show us the menu and we discussed items. Since I rarely see catfish on the menu I decided on Catfish and my wife had the smoked Mac n Cheese with pulled pork.Both items were quickly delivered to our table and right away we were pleased with our choices. The attached pictures will show how delicious both meals looked and the presentation was spot on. All I can say is that the Catfish was perfectly cooked and the fries were hot and excellent. I have never had fries like this and they were a thick curly fry like a steak fry but with a twist in it. I picked an additional side and had collard greens and they finished off an excellent tasty meal. My wife was very pleased with her choice and she said the Mac n cheese had a good smokey flavor and the pulled pork was excellent too.We will definitely be back and will be checking for what the daily special is and the next time I want to try the smothered pork chops.If you are traveling down I 70 then this would be a great stop due to the good food and it is a few blocks from the interstate.

I give this place a 10/10! The bbq was delicious everything tasted really good, presentation of the food is also 10/10. Only downside is they run out of things fast and that because of how good they are!Friendly owners and amazing customer service.
Stopped here for lunch and got the pulled pork, brisket, potato salad, and baked beans. All dishes were excellent, brisket fell apart without needing anything but a fork, and the apple pie that Kim brought by was delicious. Can't wait to come back and try the non-BBQ side of the menu. Worth the stop any time!
This place was excellent. The ribs were smoked to perfection. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean and neat. The Nauling's are extremely cordial and the go out of their way to make sure you are happy.

We were extremely tired from running all morning and didn’t want to have to go anywhere else so we settled for substitutes. Hot links looked freezer burnt, chicken looked like Walmart Tyson frozen chicken strips. We ended up throwing $70 worth of food in the trash.NEVER AGAIN!! And telling anybody that ask about them to?♂️?♂️?♂️?♂️

Maybe it was an off day. Absolutely some of the worst excuse for BBQ I have ever had in my life! The brisket was drier than jerky. The baked beans were poured out of a can with absolutely no seasoning. I always give a restaurant a second chance. For the price and quality of the food and service, I am 1 and done here!

My grandfather asked me to take him out for BBQ so I chose a random place off the google search as we are not from Topeka. Nauling’s was TOP TIER, and one of the best BBQ joints I have ate.. The chicken and ribs had a wonderful smoky flavor and the Mac was delicious. The two running the place were extremely friendly, and I was able to speak with them for awhile about their business. Clean and cozy atmosphere, friendly people, fair prices, AMAZING food. Will be making the drive to eat here again. 10/10 recommend. Can’t wait to try their soul food side of the menu next time.
