This is a hidden gem of North Topeka! It was once a speak easy back in the day and has survied to become one of the best eateries around. It's old world charm pairs perfectly with outstanding delicious food and friendly staff. Come see for yourself the next time you want to venture out for an amazing sit down meal.
I was really looking forward to coming back since it had been over three years, and it did not disappoint. The meat was incredibly flavorful and perfectly juicy. The pork ribs stood out the most — tender, well-seasoned, and easily some of the best I’ve ever had. You can really tell a lot of care goes into the cooking. I’ll definitely be back much sooner next time
We had the best time for my birthday right before Christmas! It was decorated so beautifully and was really a reminder of the "steakhouses" my grandparents took me to in Iowa/Nebraska. There were still jukeboxes at the booths, seats "fixed" with duct tape and the memories of a 82 year old restaurant.\nThe service was outstanding and the food was even better. Our steak was outstanding, lots of great sides and the price was so right! \nWe cannot wait to go back....
