Superior drive through service.. fast and easy, which is what I want during lunch breaks. I got the 1/4lb cheeseburger with everything. The pickles, in my opinion, are tough and just not great. The burger was good though. I also got the onion rings, I didn't hate them, but i've had better. I thought the onions were tough to bite. Next time I want to try the cheese balls and maybe the pork fritter sandwich. I forgot to take picture, I was in a hurry.

Pay at the counter, take your order, and enjoy. They offered an unlimited salad bar (that I would have probably gotten but it was too high) or a one-trip option. We had a grilled chicken sandwich, a single hamburger, and shared an order of onion rings.

I heard this was a must do while I was in Topeka today. It was busy and after a short wait for my burger and fry I found out why. It was fantastic! I’m going to say best burger in Topeka

I typically avoid this establishment due to their less than desirable political and religious rhetoric posted on their signage. That said, portion sizes on sides are an issue given the price you pay. This shouldn't be considered a large portion and wouldn't be at the other establishment in town where they're served.
Ordered a 3 piece tender basket got a nugget instead.

It is an old-school burger joint, and the atmosphere says so. While not as old school as the original was still old school. Service is good for a busy hamburger joint. It is what you want fast and accurate. The food with their locally sourced hamburger make it a step above. The taco burger is fantastic, but the go-to at this place is the curly fries Pad burger and a chocolate shake. If visiting Topeka, and you say what's local and good Al's Taco's and The Pad. If you live in Topeka and have never ate at The Pad, all I can say is why not?
